Why are they so butthurt about Get Famous when celebrities have been in the Sims since the beginning. The Sims 3 had a celebrity expansions, ffs. There are already careers where you get famous too, what do they think being at the top of e/sports, art, music, comedy, critic, and internet personality careers is? The expansion will just add to that.
 
Maybe they are channeling the ridiculous names that could be seen in Sims 1.

In other news, The English Simmer, a popular EA Game Changer, has a Let's Play that she calls "LGBTQ+ positive," and what could be more positive than having her trans sim be the victim of a hate crime?
 
Someone mentioned Kiwi farms as a good source of internet gossip in the comments. Even Sim Secret is taking us well compared to other sites.

From what I saw in this week's and last week's comments, there's still plenty of KF hate but it's all anonymous jibber jabber about how we kill trannies and that we commit logical fallacies or something. Plus SS only has a handful of unique visitors nowadays so it's the same autism circling round a drain.
 
It's not like a superstar pack going into a game setting that wouldn't suit it at all.
 
Honestly, a superstar and fame pack would fit in with sims 4, since the game has more focus on young adults and adults than any other game. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a university pack and some more occult sims (I feel like I've said this here before), but there's no point in getting angry and salty over a fucking fame pack. That being said, the use of real life "influencers" seems... spotty. The last time someone who was a fan of the series helped make a pack it wasn't great.
