There's a townie guy on my Riverblossom Hills who is skintone 2 going around with a blonde afro and the vampire sims 2 store clothes, I wonder how those belligerent fucks will react to him, he's funny, so I let him go around the town lol

Sims got infected with the woke invasion earlier than others. I remember getting screeched at because I complained about getting black children whenever I adopted and admitted to drowning them (I didn't know you could use cheats to change their skin color at the time.). My graveyard was full of nigger sims, young and old.

The sims community are very much not progressive. If you actually see the main subreddits they call alpha cc niggers ugly which is funny as all fuck.

That reminds me, I saw a tumblr black only content creator the other day that just creates sims 3 stuff

And every single stuff she did is not ugly, is downright disturbing, I wish I take a capture of this, every single one of those sims was fucking dead by daylight abomination, they look like cardboard with stereotypical black dudes clothes
The babies looked like fucking cursed dolls, horrendous

Like, I actually don't have a problem with the black simmers but, what's the point of doing everything so unpleasant? They don't have a sense of style whatsoever?

This also applies to the "makeovers" of sims who where already black, like wtf bitch, now the sim looks even worse than before

I wish many of the black simmers go for the semi-realistic look so it doesn't have that uncanny valley effect with their sims.
and whenever I try to find some "black" style or curly cc hairs they're always on the explode your PC high poly count *sigh*
 
I'm recently getting back into The Sims lately (2&3 - I won't touch 4) largely, and I hate how most of the content are on tumblr and even when I was just scraping by, just to download mods, the community feels like absolute cesspool.

Some confession, I do like Strangetown, and its premade and lore (because I like kooky funny location and characters) and I know it's the lolcow magnet of sims... which saddens me a lot. If you look anything remotely to do with strangetown on tumblr, It's filled with all those PascalxNervous or Loki Beaker ship, or 'Ripp Grunt is a closeted transgirl' eyesore crap. Like slash ships and trans headcanons are the only thing these people can only think about anymore about Strangetown.

Sims 2 fans are the most insane elitists bunch of people in gaming I've seen beyond Fallout No Mutant Allowed retards. (and It's understandable, I think Sims 2 is the most detailed sims game in general, It's got more charm than 3. But these people are insane)

It's either tumblr, or the link is on a discord, both suck immensely. What ever wrong was with a simple link on forums? I never understood the shipping autism either.

I just made a little Sims 3 mods for personal use, and I don't know where I should post it anymore because I just don't want to deal with the community. Now I feel like tumblr is the most likely place fit for it, but I really just hate most of the 'Simblr' people. (and If anything I only want to upload it for archival reason in case I accidentally delete it.

I think there's this feeling that you shouldn't be posting on MTS now unless your mod is a big deal, and back then most mods used to be hosted on personal blogs or sims-related forums which die out by time. Tumblr became the congregation zone if you just want to upload simple things and you don't want to take up space.
