Lots of people in less developed' parts of the world (which also has gay people in it), have worms. It's not a gay thing, is a poverty thing. Threadworms, tapeworms, worms that live in badly cooked or chilled pork, worms that live in sheep livers, worms that live in the bellies of fish -- most farmed food in the UK/Euro/US gets treated with de-wormers and cooked and refrigerated properly, so western people have less worms than some other groups, globally, but you'd be surprised how many people have some kind of parasitic worm. Even rich, straight ones.

My stats suggest that 1 in 32 men is probably a paedo, 1 in 16 men is probably a rapist, Man on boy reporting of rape and sexual abuse is less prevalent than Man on girl abuse, but the incidence rates are probably pretty similar. People infer that man on boy rape must mean 'gay man', but the majority of paedos are hetero, even the ones who rape boys. It's not 'homo' orientation, it's generally about accessibility and opportunity. Society frowns upon men being in charge of groups of girls, but sure, they leave them alone with the lads. The sexual thrill isn't usually about 'pleasure', here. The thrill comes from control, degradation, confusion, secrecy, domination, transgression, etc. Psychological/Sadistic thrills, as opposed to 'horny'.
Homo's are not 2% of the worlds population. There's probably about 10%, globally, who are 'defo gay' and around 20% IF WE INCLUDE all the other gays; the 'opportunistic' type of gay (prison gays, both sexes, try-sexuals, recreational shaggers), 'cultural' gays (in societies where women are not for 'fooling around' with, same sex 'proto-relations is sometimes a thing, for both sexes, and in male dominated cultures where boys experiment sexually with other boys/men but grow up to marry women and identify as hetero), and in cultures where gay is just 'fun times' or 'sport' or 'stress relief', (often referred to with the acronym 'MSM') as opposed to a 'label' a person wears forever. Yes, historically, being gay also seemed to mean you had loads of sexual partners, drank like a fish, and took loads of drugs which average heteros as a group didn't do, historically, at the same rates, but thanks to a) gay rights, wider acceptance of homo and b) societal changes regarding 'identity options' and c) increased incidence of drug taking, drinking and casual sex within the wider population, everyone is on something. Again, its a class/country thing, rather than a gay thing.
the current group with the worst increase in STI's, in the UK? Pensioners! Yep! Old fuckers! They're not like your grandad, back in the day. They're sniffing coke and shagging about, often without contraception, because obviously they don't need to worry about babies, and gonorrhea and clamidyia within people aged 65+ seems to be on the rise.
BUT... in terms of health, some 'facts' seem to be truer than others. I have looked into the subject myself...
- even when balancing for socioeconomic factors such as race/class, etc, statistically gay people die around 10 years earlier than the hetero.
whether that's because they traditionally do more drink and drugs, whether that's because of external factors like homophobia or discrimination effecting their mental/physical health, nobody knows, just that it looks like being gay reduces the average persons life expectancy by about 10 years (statistically speaking).
in contrast, being a hetero man with a wife is likely to be a positive, and partnered up men fare better in terms of life expectancy than single men of the same race/class, most likely because women make sure men eat better, drink less, and nag them to go to the doctors...
on the flip side, statistically, single women DO BETTER without being partnered up -- they have more friends, less stress, less 'wifey' work and they live longer.
rates of AIDS/HIV in homo's: are nowhere near 70% in the UK. PrEP has been a great medication, and if you have HIV and take PrEP, your viral load is non-existent, and you're not infecting everyone you fuck with the AID's even if you're having condom-less chem-sex. Globally the biggest increase in HIV/AID's is in women, women in poorer countries whose sexual partners are 'working away' or on the DL or who use prostitutes and take it back home, nobody's getting tested and it gets passed onto the kids, and the next biggest group are injecting drug users who share needles, and after that, it's prozzies, especially ones with drug habits, especially in countries where there's a lot of tranny prozzies who have sex with men...
it DOES appear that being gay increases your likelihood of various cancers: bowel and anal/rectal for men, and throat and breast for women. In women, it seems that nobody can make their mind up whether it's eating muff that's the issue -- infections, especially by STI's like HPV which can contribute to cancer, or whether it's because gay women don't tend to have children which in hetero women seems to lower their risk of 'female' cancers such as womb and breast. The stats are not clear enough to be able to say 'it's this, not that' but we'll find out in a few years now we vaccinate teens against HPV...
it DOES appear that men who receive anal or fisting seem to be worse effected by arse type cancers than men who give anal, here the evidence seems clearer, and the repeated microtears and trauma of anal can allow opportunistic infections and STI/HPV type infections to 'breed' or cause abnormal cell division which results in specific cancers, BUT most of this info comes from 'catholic' hospital data, which obviously might have a vested interest in painting fags as riddled with disease...
Rectal prolapse, faecal incontinence, are also more likely to occur in people who regularly have anal sex, both men and women, and while neither of these things are nice, nether of them kill you quicker.
yes, domestic violence in gay couples occurs, but it's not at the same rates as in man/woman DV, mainly because there's less physical power imbalance. It's hard to state facts here, as gay DV is not reported as much due to stigma, police attitudes, etc, but as a woman, you're still statistically safer with a sister than a mister, but probably not by much. 1 in 3 people will experience DV, man, woman, teenager, gay, straight -- it's rife, everywhere. Twats being twats...
