I don' think I know a single black person who reads the root. Its like... all DBZ manga, world star, Twitter comedy groups and anime.
As retarded as The Root writers are, I am highly curious to it's viewers ethnic base. Pretty sure majority of the readers are white.
Edit: Don' have a sub with Alexa, but free info says it' mostly college graduate females... in other words, fat white chicks.

The other audience for it are people who use all the articles about how Blacks have the highest rate of ED, herpes, child abuse, and etc to make fun of Black people.
The only things The Root talks about is how shit Whites and Blacks are for different reasons.

Why do these people need made up pop culture countries when there are plenty of historic examples of long lasting African nations like Benin or Ghana? And that's just a few on my mind. Stop with these pop culture references and just bring up proper historic lessons if you want to make people feel proud for their heritage. Even with how spotty history of absolutely any nation can get, there should be plenty of glorious, inspiring moments in real life.

This shit is pretty crazy, it may as well be the black daily stormer or whatever. I don't how a mainstream corporation can justify publishing this and not consider it pretty extreme racebaiting bordering on legit calls for violence based on race (which is the most conservative definitions of hate speech).
How can someone who got in trouble for this, be the editor of The Root? (Henry Louis Gates Jr.). In case anyone is curious The Root is owned by Gizmodo Media Group (Univision Communications).

It's like they created a new black sterotype. Take the black power activist type from the 70s and 80s, get rid of any positives, make them biticher, meaner, racist, super arrogant, and give them a superority-victimhood complex. Also throw in a bit of the Africa fanboy of the 90s, but also take out the good stuff and where the fanboy celebrated the culture and probably did some reasearch, these guys automatically think they're big shots because they saw Black Panther.
