Man who shot and killed a home intruder in Alberta will not be charged. And so it should be. Half of America's states would put the homeowners behind bars ffs.

I don't normally post in the Autistic Thunderdome, but thought some of you would like to see an example of police enforcing the spirit of the law, not just the word of the law.

The caveat here is that the intruder beat the homeowner with a baseball bat before the homeowner shot him back.

If the homeowner hadn't been injured first, I suspect there would be charges.

Hate to hear the homeowner had to undergo surgery, but that was what I'd call a "good shoot." A family is safe and a criminal is in the ground where he belongs.

I gotta wonder if the criminal in question happened to be one of those "natives" I keep hearing about.
