One of the things that trannies (poon and troon) always do that pisses me off way more than it should is how they always have the most put-upon frowns in their before pics and over-the-top rictuses in their after pics. Even when the pics are supposed to be direct comparisons, as if they were just incapable of even affecting a neutral expression before or after because the pain of not being on HRT or having breasts was so bad while the trans joy of putting on a dress or changing your name was so drastic that you can't help but smile. Can you imagine if cancer surgery patients did this? Not even anti-depressants advertise themselves like this. Selling themselves as a miracle key to happiness is shady as fuck and even Alex Jones' supplements have more tact than that.
One thing that did advertise itself like this was lobotomies, but to be fair I bet that afterwards a lot of the patients genuinely did have a hard time copying their expression in the before pic.

No pics or anything, but I know a pooner IRL: an in-law.
I can't say that I know her terribly well, but while all other relatives report her as being utterly insufferable during her teenage years, after she pooned/non-binaried/whatever, she actually became pretty chill, and that has been my experience with her.
Physically, she has become a gender-blob ― which is to say that it's difficult to tell which way, exactly, she's "transitioning" ― but she's studying for a trade, and if she's misgendered/deadnamed, she never flips her shit about it. She's easily the most well-put-together of all of her siblings, and her older sister is a 400-lbs forever-alone weeb, while her younger sister is an (incredibly nice and kind person and also a) turbo-slut with multiple drug habits.

I can’t help but assume this is Osora in Webtoon. There have been a spate of “Girl dresses as a boy” romances coming out of Asia and onto Webtoon. Some of them are kinda cute. But in those stories the women are not claiming to be actual men. Can we ban this reconstruction for anyone diagnosed with autism? It won't catch them all but it's a start. I'm autistic and I realize this is a slippery slope. I think lines should be drawn to make plastic/cosmetic surgery require independent psychology evaluations. I'm not sure how we could do this without crooked doctors being a risk factor.
Autistic people and those with low self-esteem (or no support system) are far more vulnerable to this crap.

Jesus H Christ, is there a more feminine beard than the pencil mustache? If you have good beard growth it reqires you touch it up for 15 minutes twice a day, you need to be seriously gay and dedicated to keep that looking good over time. And it still looks gay. I think all pooners should aim for a braided full beard, that will look really manly, you went through the 3-4 years it looked like absolute shit, and you did not care that you looked like a homeless person, but it pays off.
All longer beard styles require that you avoid mirrors for more than 2 months. Few women can do that.

So, you had the same reactions to puberty that most women have... and that means you're a man. Is there any woman who doesn't have "dysphoria" about her period but is like, "I love headaches while bleeding uncontrollably from my crotch for a week!" That's why "cis" women take birth control for the same reason. They get breast reduction surgery, too, if they cause pain and somehow feel no urge to bully other people into using their custom pronouns.

Both men and women have certain parts of the population that excessively focus on grooming (as in hightening your status by looks-/statusmaxxing, not as in tranny grooming) than others, and some that don't do that at all. This is probably a result of personality and not gender.
