That subreddit gets multiple questions a week asking the same thing and the gay guys are tired of it, consistently downvoting it and complaining about mods not deleting the "Would you fuck a pooner?" threads.

Oh trust me, I am well aware. But I always saw this as a real life thing that was strictly segregated from the internet virtue signal echo chamber. Looks like things are catching up to reality.

If it's any comfort, the straight women who become pooners and bother gay men will most likely suffer from debilitating osteoporosis as testosterone already causes that in women and then the HIV prevention drug, Truvada (aka PrEP), has as its main side effect bone density loss and pooners love to take that to say "SEE, I'M A GAY MAN, TOO!" So get ready for that saga.

I didn't know that it was a daily dose drug. That's nice for GILD stockholders. Not so nice for accidental pregnancies though. for some reason I can't quote this particular post, but Mellorine passively mentioned "Kevin Spacey fanfic writer Aja Romano" as if that was just a perfectly commonplace occurence. Having followed hyperlink-after-hyperlink I still have no idea what the fuck this is all about, but it increasingly feels like the keffalsesque quivering rim of a deep, dark, fetid rabbit-hole

As things currently stand, "Aja Romano" could be one or many of several things:
  • A fanfic writer who displays similar tendencies to Kevin Spacey (predatory, sneaky, etc)
  • Someone who writes fanfic about things that Kevin Spacey has been in
  • Someone who writes fanfic about Kevin Spacey as an abstracted, dramatized concept
  • Someone who writes fanfic about Kevin Spacey's personal life
  • Kevin Spacey himself, using a pseudonym to write fanfic
Some of which are weirder than others, but the majority of these are probably more bizarre and fascinating (and hopefully less depressing) than the subjects of this particular thread

That's all. Hope this was mildly entertaining and if you choose to soldier on with this thread you at least enjoy it
 
I should clarify Aja has claimed the Kevin Spacey fandom mailing list she built did not in fact contain real-person-fanfic of Kevin Spacey just "fangirl squee", and that it was deleted out from under her by a fellow admin out of fear Kevin Spacey's assistant had infiltrated the list and thus become aware of the relentless shipping they were doing between Spacey and other male actors. My apologies if I mislead anyone regarding the documented facts of the situation.

Writing fanfic about weirdo male celebrities is nearly a rite of passage for fujoshi and fupoonshi. Autoandrophiles are nearly as predictable as autogynephiles, imo.
