The nonsense about /pol/ has always been a way to dismiss anyone meaningfully critical of the status quo and progressivism. I have been accused of being a /pol/ user quite a few times over the years on various sites, yet I have never used the forum and my only experience on 4chan was /a/ back in the good old days.

funnjunk recently began censoring political content and permabanned several prominent users, much to the cheering of progressives who were extremely pleased people they don't like are being suppressed. It was a site that often prided itself on being free speech, and while the admin, mods, and progressives there desperately insisted that censoring political content totally isn't censorship, while also bragging about it and cheering that they were returning the website to being a humor website by censoring politics. It would have been funny if it wasn't so dishonest.

I wonder if Null would ever do the same, and claim he is simply returning the site to being a gossip site? Honestly, funnyjunk censoring to that degree never occurred to me as a possibility, so I can't say Kiwi Farms is immune to the same.

Mainly for me it's how their ideas are expressed.

For example to the opposite side if a bunch of people showed up babbling about saving Ukraine like it's the most sane thing in the world and you didn't know anything about it, you'd immediately assume these must be retards who hang out someplace where this has evolved into a thing, because that's a pretty weird idea to be obsessed with.

With the /pol/ people (or at least the ones who seem like /pol/ people) there always seems to be really bizarre, hyper-specific obsessions they have that they relay in really meme-ish kinds of ways.

Someone can absolutely believe in gassing all the black people or w/e and I wouldn't assume they're a /pol/ user, if that's what someone believes then sure, but they never act like the kind of people who reasoned the entire thing out and came to a conclusion like that, they come off like they're dumb and repeating things.

They also usually get fairly offended by being disagreed with, which makes it seem like they're used to having an echo chamber someplace.

Point is I don't believe for a second that these people aren't picking these really specific ideas and preoccupations up from somewhere. It might not be /pol/, maybe they're watching youtube videos, or watch certain streamers, or have a discord, I've got no idea.

/pol/ isn’t bad because because it’s full of hecking wignats and those dastardly nazis, it’s because only bots, feds, third worlders, and 14 year old tourists still use it. That being said, I don’t think most of your A&N types fit this bill, so I agree that the /pol/ bogeyman is a bit exaggerated here.

You see it because its just a round about way of bitching about politics right of center and push back on leftwing talking points. There has never been a /pol/ invasion or a secret discord group to turn people right-wing.
People who scream about it can not accept right-wing views, nor a shift in any userbase in favor of them. You see this everywhere in other forms, such as labeling anyone with a right-wing view a "tourist."
 
It's a thought terminating cliche, if you call someone a pol tard you don't have to engage with anything they say. It's a statement used by the weak and the dumb.

Null is like a jewish merchant who puffs his chest up against practices that ruin the image of his brand but doesn't do anything about it because he knows it's good for business. He only bans posters who are a direct threat to himself. It took him 14 years to yeet @Android raptor off the platform, and he only banned her cause she called him ugly or something.

I'm not concerned. Probably 9/10ths of them just hate Jews and minorities reflexively due to the brutal onslaught of late, dying capitalism, its import of people who are utterly alien to their culture and values to debase wages and bring other anti-social behavio, and the effect of these dying systems on their communities, homes, their opportunities and their future.

The /pol/ refugees desire a nation where there is no worry about money and no fear of unemployment or homelessness, no fear of crime or disorder, and a sense of community at all levels of society. A place for everyone and everyone in their place. No concern about how to afford raising a family or how to educate your children, no fear about affording nutritious and decent food. The list goes on....

I understand your pain, friends. You are not alone.
