Here is a trailer for Obsidian newest IP shown on 2018 Games Awards:

Game is set to release on 2019, and the publisher is Private Division, the newest Take-Two subsidiary.

Any thoughts?

After watching my verdict is: I will keep an eye on this. Can't be any worse than 76, at least.

Count me excited. I'm pretty sure all that wacky shit is just for the trailer.
 
If they actually got quality writers after Avellone left instead of the fanfiction tier I've come to expect, I might pick this up. Although I hope I can work for the corporation.

Yeah sure go for it.

But it’s not quality writing.

It’s the absolute minimum for humor.


“Oh I’m expecting the door to go down”

“It doesn’t.”

That’s the punchline.


Maybe something like

“Oh my gun got jammed so I throw it at the enemy”

would’ve been more suitable to get the tone across
 
When comparing this to New Vegas, remember that almost everyone who was key in creating New Vegas has since left Obsidian.
