Pretty much. The only part I can really recall is homer and Elon sitting on the top of the nuclear cooling tower and he gets sushi delivered by a drone while homer has sandwiches in a brown bag and a montage of how Elon has made springfield futuristic

I like when Homer ends up in "the worst place yet" - the world of reality. Freaked out by how ugly everyone and everything appears, he relaxes when he sees a store that sells erotic cakes.

You know, sometimes I like to think about what the Simpsons would look like in real life. And no, I'm not talking about those abhorrent nightmare fuel pieces where they try to make the characters look as horrible as possible.
For instance, I think this guy would make a great Homer from a visual standpoint.

At first I wondered why "don't blame me I voted for kodos," merch isn't selling or being a hot item worn this year since it's an election year, them I remembered "oh right." Because nobody is allowed to have any fun with an election and doing so means you're a racist or some bs like that.

During 2016 the AV Club did an article on timeless Simpsons quotes and one of them was "Go ahead. Throw your vote away" saying it captured the zeitgeist of the 2016 election. The writer then went on a mini rant saying that as bad as Hillary was, Trump was far worse. He was the perfect example of the "I voted for Kodos" mindset the line was mocking by thinking his terrible candidate was better than the other terrible candidate.

I hate it when parts in the Simpsons become mainstream “memes”.
It completely ruins the original jokes and makes you hate them.
Sneed is the obvious execption becuase it’s more excessive shitposting about a painfully unfunny joke than a well written joke being repeated over and over until it’s lost all meaning

The only time it got to me was spider pig. It was basically the central theme of the movie's advertising and hearing it from other people started to get annoying. It was genuinely funny the first time I saw the preview in a theater. By the time I actually saw the movie I couldn't even smile at it. It wasn't that I hated the joke or anything, it was more like how a song you've heard a thousand times sounds like white noise.

Yeah but Jeffery was into girls wasn't he? Also I wanna give Matt the benefit of the doubt and say "oh he didn't know the girl on the plane who washed and rubbed his feet was a sec slave, he thought she was just a trained massause."
