Some Simpsons ghosts also appeared on one of the final episodes of the real Ghostbusters but mind you I think this was in 1990 a year after the second movie and long after the show had plummeted in quality thanks to everything from JMS having long left the show and taking advice on what to change about the show from children's media consulting firm

Shearer appeared on Times Radio to promote his new satirical album, "The Many Moods Of Donald Trump," which is slated for release later this year. CNN has reached out to Shearer, "The Simpsons" and parent company Disney for comment.

The thing you have to remember about Shearer is that he was under Mel Blanc's wing back when he was starting out, so it's no surprise he would have an old-school mindset when it comes to voice acting. Blanc was known as the Man of a Thousand Voices, and some of those voices weren't his own race (like the Frito Bandito and Speedy), so Shearer most likely takes that sort of thing to heart. After all, he was friends with the biggest voice actor on the planet, so I doubt he would throw away his beliefs about acting over the current political climate.

Can you blame them? They will sadly give Trump a second term. At least 4 more years of reeeeeeeeing will be fun
 
Imagine your watching the premiere of a new simpsons episode and it’s a completely generic zombie simpsons episode (complete with guest animator couch gag!) execpt for the fact the openings title says “the sneeds” instead of “the simpsons”

Fun fact, that shitty episode was actually a parody of a horrible 1960's British comedy called The Magic Christian starring Peter Sellers and Ringo Starr, and is quite possibly one of the worst movies ever made. It has a lot of the same elements as the Panda rape episode of the Simpsons, such as the shock humor involving a rich person doing wacky hijinks for fun.

You can blame the show getting long in the tooth at the Time for that but also the rise in"adult" animation at the time too. True the show was never kid friendly to begin with, but here you had south Park which at the time held the record for most swearing in animated movie and was a bit with the teens and older kids who had grown out of watching the almost wholesome Simpsons less than a decade prior. The Simpsons writers didn't understand why the shock humor on South Park worked and didn't work on their show. A guy fucking a chicken isn't funny just because it's a guy fucking a chicken. It's funny because he did it on a severely misguided attempt at getting office barbrady to learn to read. But to the Simpsons writers trying to copy their competitor's success "lol sex with animals funny have homer raped by panda dur!"
