My favorite Simpsons episode is when bart enrolls for school in literal hell and ends up getting high honor roll and nailing his teacher.

I have never begged for the death of a show more than with The Simpsons.

PLEASE for the love of Christ can it just end?! We should be talking about the good old days and being nostalgic for the greatness they gave us.

Not, you know, still here, literally decades after they are past the point of relevancy.

So They waited 14 years to do an episode on becoming a YouTube “celebrity”, Internet drama and viral internet videos...

The whole detention/labour side plot was meh too, as usual.

What the fuck? White supremacist? I thought the skin care jokes were just sellouts doing ads. Wasn't that the joke
Where does the white supremacy shit come into play?
Don't you know? Literally any joke about skin color has to be about white supremacy. Just look at Dave Chappelle. People are already labeling him as one.

This just proves they don't need the VAs alive to keep making the show.
Imagine if future Simpsons is generated by AI and "deepfake" technology, along with engineered voice clips from the former human actors. No real input, just randomly generated episodes.

It really is best to just let the show end already.

Sheesh, and I thought Jack Black as the hipster comic book shop owner was as low as it could get.

Thanks for proving me wrong, Simpsons. Now I gotta go listen to some Birch Barlow to cleanse my mind.
Besides Kelsey Grammar when has the Simpsons ever used celebrities well? Even in the golden years they were usually holding episodes back rather than adding anything to them. King of the Hill was the superior show for celebrity roles.

Neil Gaiman was pretty good. Doubly impressive as it was a later episode.

Me Blog Write Good posted a new review of the Simpletons episode yesterday.

At least he didn't like it.

I can give you several. The biggest is probably Michelle Pfeiffer as Mindy Simmons tho. Its hailed as one of the best celeb voice performances for the show.

Also: Lucy Lawless, Dustin Hoffman, Johnny Cash, and Glenn Close.

Well....

I can think of 2 examples.

Meryl Streep is reigning champion for me. Bart's Girlfriend has a top 10 line for me with the "You're just yellow trash" line with Bart going "HUH". Great line that caught me completely off-guard.

Ok the celebrity cameos that are so well integrated it's easy to not even tell they're said celebrity are the exception.

The term "Zombie Simpsons" would take a whole different meaning :ghost:
