Fortunately the narrative has been in place for several years now to declare any mass expression of criticism/condemnation/mockery towards the kind and wise corporate/media overlords and their pet politicians as nothing more than a vile and bigoted and hateful harassment campaign waged by a few dozen incel nurdbros, algorithm infused bots, and putin sponsored russian troll farms, and that the *REAL* people all love and support them and are desperate to throw money and votes their way if only the handful of evil troll klansmen who have been holding their voices hostage could be somehow "removed" from the internet...

Seriously im not even being hyperbolic at this point. This is straight up what these specimens say in reaction to everybody telling them they are embarrasing idiots, and there are more than enough outlets that are eager to shit out articles "proving" this to be true by virtue of simply declaring it true

Same reason effectively any media created by dogmatic zealots with the sole intent of beating petty political/ideological points into the viewer's heads sucks.

When you are certain you have the RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY™ status then there is no need to put any effort in to your work, indeed you likely only got your position due to the proper connections and the correct politics, as you can simply have whatever media associates you have on hand declare it an important and historical work that only wretched and hateful scum could critique
 
Okay, even discounting the tired, lazy "orange man bad" horseshit...what was the point of this? They come out of a picture, sing a shitty, out-of-tune rendition of a showtune, and then the democratic candidates all show up doing their little dance number.

What...what's supposed to be the joke? Politics aside, this is objectively not funny.

The closest time they got to making fun of the right-wing more than the left-wing was Sideshow Bob Roberts, but even then, that was all in fun jest because Kelsey Grammer, a Republican, liked the idea of making fun of himself.



And also, Sideshow Bob Roberts is one of the best episodes of the show. It's actually my favorite Sideshow Bob episode. Never understood the appeal of Cape Feare, so overrated. Cape Feare has a lot of pacing problems that no one really points out and it confuses me as to why. The episode runs short, so they elongated some scenes, so some jokes felt dragged out, and the ending was particularly unsatisfying. It's probably my least favorite Sideshow Bob episode of the first 8 seasons.

I don't think this even appeared in a single Simpsons episode, this is extremely stupid. Even those who don't even like Trump hated it for being a huge cringefest. If you want to make fun of le Drumpf at least make some effort on recent jokes surrounding him like Epstein (gee, wonder why he isn't in it), shootings, etc., but nope they had to use old jokes that are already done to death like Putin, or Mike Pence, or his hair for the millionth time. The only recent jokes surrounding him are just the Democratic candidates and AOC's squad. Why would the Democratic candidates even do the can-can with Trump to begin with anyway?

Even the latest season of South Park moved on from making fun of Trump already apart from the arrest scene that lasts for like a few seconds, and even that one got a chuckle from me.

I think the only reason these Trump simpsons parodies exist is just because it's to soapbox about Trump by out of touch comedian writers or as a desperate attempt to make the Simpsons relevant or counter culture (despite every mainstream show and Hollywood making fun of Trump)
