Speaking of Current Year, what old episode(s) do you think wouldn't be made nowadays?

"Homer and Apu" definitely wouldn't. The "woke" would likely screech about stuff like "exotification" -- and Apu of course.

anything with apu
anything where lisa doesn't "win" or is made to look bad
anything with problematic celebrities... which i can't think of many, so someone with better simpsons knowledge could help with that

Homer Badman
The Sweetest Apu
Homer the Heretic.
Lisa the Iconoclast

It depends on what you mean by "be made nowadays." Homer and Apu could be made today, but it would be so fundamentally different in tone as to be unrecognizable when viewed next to the original. Apu would almost certainly be castigating Homer from the very beginning, unwilling to go along with Homer's schemes and coming across like a self-righteous jackass. Thus, you'd lose the brilliant dynamic between Homer and Apu that made that episode work. And given how much The Simpsons writing team loves to virtue signal, Apu would probably end up becoming CEO of Quik-E-Mart at the end instead of returning to his job (no doubt ending the episode with a smug line referencing the controversy that demeans the service industry and reeks of coastal elitism).

Bart The General
Colonel Homer
Lisa The Beauty Queen
Lisa Vs. Malibu Stacy
Lisa The Iconoclast
Homerpalooza (obviously)
My Sister, My Sitter

I get the Lisa episodes since she doesn't win or is made to look in the wrong, but I'm a little confused on Colonel Homer.

Country music is for RACIST WYPIPO REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Oh if only they did a whole episode that was merely mashing together clips in this fashion!

Season 5 was kind of a bump year, sometimes the Simpsons looked really cutesy. Season 6 was when I think the show looked kind of good and then I think Season 10 was the show looking its best.

Wait...really? Two different animation studios? What the fuck? Which episodes were done by Rough Draft?
Even I knew they had both studios back to back a lot (I recall Anivision also in the earlier seasons).

Ah Fox, just have the Simpsons go out for frosty chocolate milkshakes one last time and have the show call it a day.
That would be my ideal ending!

That's what I miss all the time!

I remember someone on FB complained that despite using "Women" for the chart, a majority of those characters technically are not adults.

Reading these last posts reminds me how sad I feel about today's generation and how screwed up it has become. To lighten the mood, I found this just now, fascinating what they could do here!

The review of the last episode of Mike Amato, the guy from the Me Blog Write Good that spergs about Modern Simpsons, thinks Apu is racists and hates Drumpf. Of course, it made his dick rock hard https://meblogwritegood.wordpress.com/2019/03/27/657-bart-vs-itchy-scratchy/#comments

Yeah, I usually read his blog, but as soon as he said he liked, I said: "fuck this shit". The liberal bias is strong within this one. He liked this episode purely because the Simpsons agreed with him for once. What a cuck. He's usually the harshest modern Simpsons critic. If he wasn't blinded by his bias, he would've torn this episode a new one. Rarely is a Modern Simpsons episode is of quality. He should know that. This weeks episode was not the worst, but it had bad execution of satire, unclear message, the humor was only funny to the people who write and agree with it, and not the whole majority, and it was just a character derailment fest. Guess he didn't mind Lisa in this one....

Also, any evidence that he hates Drumpf? I know he hates Julian Assange and called him "a piece of human garbage" when he guest starred on the Simpsons.

He is constantly sperging about anti-SJWs so its a given that he hates him but to be fair he sperg less about muh Drumpf than the average woke liberal https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=535985612
