I think people who like modern Simpsons (as an aside, I'll defend seasons 19 and 20 as being pretty good) are the same kind of people who enjoy Adam Sandler comedies and the Ghostbusters remake.

I'm 100% positive those last two are not each liked by the same people.

"BreitBART": Mr. Burns purchases a right-wing news website and encourages the user base to commit acts of violence. This leads to the death of Apu, and Lisa in turn combats internet harassment. Elsewhere Bart and Homer explore the world of father-son sexuality.

I thought Homer would have been in a coma since "So It's Come to This: A Simpsons Clip Show" (season four episode where Bart's exploding beer can prank puts Homer in a coma and causes the entire episode to be a clip show. The original writers basically did that episode because they were creatively burned out).
