Extremely regular (atleast once an episode last I checked) regurgitations of whatever the lazy and hyperbolic "right wing bad/bigut trullz bad" narrative of the week (or a year or two before the week given how out of step the show has been for decades) is while lavishing entirely uncritical and obsequious praise on whatever is fashionable in left wing politics/activism that week (or again, a year or two before that week) along with the most shameless consoom pushing imaginable. All of which seems designed to be the main point of discussion among the "professional" critic sphere so that they can rake in cheap pozz reviews for having the right opinions and liking the right products, and to try and ensure the conversation never shifts to how fucking trash the writing is and how downright painful the voice acting is after nearly 40 years.how is it woke specifically?
As stated before though, the fact they jumped aboard the smug-woke bandwagon is not the issue, as the show was equally fucking cancerous and painful to watch during the brief window they went anti-woke back in the day
