This is random, but god over time I have really began to dislike the Simpsons movie. Especially compared to other Adult animated shows that got theatrical films (South Park and Bob's Burgers), the Simpsons movie didn't really feel like a Simpsons movie. It could've been any other animated film about a family being kicked out of their town due to some bullshit. Like I sure love how a Simpsons movie spends a good chunk of its runtime in Alaska.

the actual reason it came up for me was that clips show was on the onlines at that moment and they had the ending of HARD CORE NUDITY! and I was thinking about how that shot was actually really a lot of naked for broadcast tv

It does to me as well. I was going to go back to reviewing the episodes I missed out on since I have taken a break from it but now after finding out about Hostile Kirk Place, Carl Carlson Rides Again as well as Fan-ily Feud, i really don't, especially in regards to the first. It's nopt the first ever outright leftist episode that made me almost rage quite but it may be the first one where I consider 100% pozzed (and dare I say the first explicitly anti white episode) and I rage quite so much i dont klnow where to start.
What makes me happy thopugh is seeing how even simpsons fans don't like Hostile Kirk Place it as it got one of the lowest ratings in the season with a rating of 6.0 on IMBD ,

And the Simpsons movie basically had zero impact on the show.
Compare that with South Park. Parker and Stone said that doing the South Park movie improved their writing abilities. You can tell that, because season 3 was created during and after the production of the movie, and season 3 is when, IMO, the show truly became great.
