The eyes opening POV shot to have Homer then drooling was some pretty clever used of editing.

Side note: The scene where Marge fell out of bed triggered my memory of watching that scene as a child on syndication. It made me remember how initially understood Marge and Homer's euphonism "snuggling" to pretty much mean they were going to cuddle. As opposed to what well having sex.

While I'm definitely biased since my family condoned me watching The Simpsons as far back as I can remember I'll argue that the writers cleverly held to a television morality that made its innuendo high enough that they went far over the heads of child viewership. While I'm far from a moral puritan the show just had class.

Okay, the talk of the internet is the new forced meme Graggle Simpson.
Essentially, it's some kind of yellow muppet that supposedly appeared in key classic Simpsons scenes. They'd make montages of the creature in certain stills and go all "hurr durr don't you remember when he shot Mr. Burns" or whatever, supposedly to make fun of the concept of Mandela Effect.

I don't see the fun in stretching a throwaway joke for more than a couple of days, so naturally I find it cringy and forced. But perhaps opinions vary among fellow Kiwis?

First I've ever heard of it.

Jesus christ the joke is Ralph is so stupid that Chief Wiggum's education in stranger danger left him not understanding what his special area is. That's why the animator has Ralph's eyes glance down to Marge's hand, if Ralph was written to have been sexually abused he'd immediately shriek in horror.

And yeah Ralph was supposed to just be a poor student. He totally upstages Lisa in their George Washington School Play showing the character was good in memorization and how to theatrically portray emotion.
Maybe Ralph isn't as poor student as we thought compared to Milhouse.

Grabble has existed for a while now, probably a few years. Before now he was called Gumby or Gumbly or some shit. It's an old meme that pops up once in a while.

I've seeing these on my YT feed for the last few days, looks like some stupid ARG or forced creppypasta, just like "Every copy of Super Mario 64 is personalized" from a couple years ago.

It's weird seeing it catch on now when I've seen it forced on /tv/ for a while, it was painfully unfunny there and it's painfully unfunny now but at least on /tv/ those threads got taken over by sneedposting

Great so apparently the Simpson internet culture has become as cringe as the show itself? I give them six months next season when a graggle Simpson appears on the actual show itself. Like how they forced a steamed hams reference in 's year after it stopped being funny.

It's a shame there forcing this Mr poopy butthole type meme all of a sudden, the Simpsonmeme community were honestly incredibly creative with all the steamed ham variations we got, this just seems like a step back in every way.
