All I’ve heard positively about today’s episode is the couch gag is based off designs of a Venezuelan’s webcomic about Bart and Lisa as teens.

It was boomers, Tucker Carlson, and Fox News. Tucker is shown endorsing Putin for president, so Russia too I guess.

No no it was those people who screwed up everything and not an incompetent old man who flat out admits he plans on bringing inflation and shortages and tells the people to be happy about them. Our glorious government could do no wrong not now or ever.


Seriously between the trump vs squad musical and now this how much of a sellout can this show get? Which is a real shame sure Matt and most of the original writers back in the beginning were aging hippies and liberals but at least those groups understand left or right either side doesn't care about YOU the common man. Just your vote and your unquestiong loyalty.
 
Disney plus has a whole collection list called "Disney references in the Simpsons." While it lists good (and heinous) episodes, it really does come off as them saying "look upon my works ye mighty." Only instead of mighty it's
pee-ons. Up there with the oh my Disney scene from WIR 2 or C and D 2022.
