So now it's been established they'll replace actors if expedient to show. Do you think they'll have the balls to replace one of the family if they die? The shows been on so long this might come up.
It's mostly going to happen, and Disney being Disney they going to do it. One idea I would not be too mad if they do a spin-off or season in the future, it can give new plots and new ideas to the show. (inb4 they put the leftist wet dream as one of the main characters)

Might be for the best, I can't imagine how much Julie's throat hurts anytime she does that voice these days.
Honestly the best is just to can the show. The Simpsons once it's cancelled will forever be known for having so many seasons with only the first 9-11 being the best

It's not relevant to the discussion at hand, I've just been forced to watch a lot of this series over several months and have a small rant.

I fucking hate almost all of the celebrity cameos in this show. They are almost always painfully unfunny and feel incredibly patronizing, like dangling keys in front of your face and expecting you to clap like a seal. The formula is always "Celebrity shows up with the faintest strand of tangential connection to the plot, Celebrity says line they're known for that was never funny or completely out of place in the context, celebrity fucks off." Yes, jokes about celebrities or public figures are fine, if they have any real relevance, without it, it's just basic bitch pandering.

I'm done ranting, feel free to give me my hats.

I mean I said this before but the celebrity cameos nowadays feel that random famous people just want to be on the show to get their dick sucked whereas the Simpsons Golden Age took the piss out of celebrities and celebrity cameos felt more special back then which were used well (except for Paul McCartney)

10 fucking minutes? Holy shit that is one long advertisement.

Let's see what normies think in tbe comments. Surely they realize how awful this is...

This has got to be one of the finest examples of branded content ever made. A master class in marketing, done creatively and with respect to the heritage of both brands. Balenciaga’s dialogue with the mainstream feels no longer like irony but a sincere, unambiguous weirdo embracing popular culture. And we’re all here for it!

Just fucking kill me now.

I am kinda impressed that, with as bad as Simpsons has gotten, they hadn’t brought back Poochie for an episode.
Never mind Poochie, Im amazed they haven't brought back Springfields Greatest Evil Genius

On your way out, if you wanna kill somebody, it would help me a lot.

"It's high time people realized we conservatives aren't all Johnny Hatemongers and Charlie Biblethumps and even - God forbid - George Bushes."
I recall at least some razzing of George Sr for being a RINO before bitching about RINOs was a thing, but that's still pretty on-point for "jerks who think taxes suck trying to explain how to not lose"

the board checks out as a legit radio board, mic about cheap enough but way too far from the host, should be a hanging deal like one of those big arm desk lamp/mic stands
if Birch Barlow was hardcore enough to run his own boards he wouldn't have that bullshit mic setup
also smoking tobacco in the studio bruh gonna kill your shit
not your lungs, you (and your lungs) are replaceable
that board costs fucking money

It's too hard to imagine him doing something to Springfield directly since Homer lives there. He seemed to genuinely care about Homer and consider him something of a friend. You don't give someone an entire NFL team worth millions of dollars if you don't like them a helluva lot.
All Homer would have to do is ask him to please not destroy Springfield, or at least give them a day or two to move the town 5 miles down the road again.

And if we go bigger, we know he's into world domination given that he actively seized the entire east coast. How the fuck are you going to make that look like a bad thing? If he plans to treat his conquered citizenry anything like he treats his employees then as far as most people are concerned he can take this shit over with our blessing.

Hank Scorpio is a subversion of the evil super-genius ala James Bond films. Whereas most of those villains are overtly malevolent to almost everyone and treat their henchmen as disposable (even killing them for failure or disobedience), Hank is affable, outgoing, and seems like the sort of dude who would take the death of even his low level nameless henchmen personally and make it a point to avenge them.

Yeah, too hard to make him a legitimate villain in the eyes of anyone who ever saw the episode You Only Move Twice.

Also, here's a painting of that iconic scene that I found.
