Can we just take a moment to appreciate the single greatest Simpsons character ever?

On the one hand it's sad they never brought him back for a second episode. On the other hand I dread him being brought back in the era of Zombie Simpsons.

At this point I'd rather give him a spinoff ala Futurama.

He was originally going to be the antagonist of the movie but the producers realized he was just too likable, so they changed it to Russ Cargill.

Yeah, he wouldn't work as an actual villain. He's just too damn lovable and let's face it, almost everyone saw him as the good guy even when he was trying (successfully thanks to Homer) to kill James Bont. I mean, Homer was a very small cog in his empire and he rewarded the guy with a fucking NFL team! I don't even care that it's the Denver Broncos, that's a helluva severance package!

Yeah, he wouldn't work as an actual villain. He's just too damn lovable and let's face it, almost everyone saw him as the good guy even when he was trying (successfully thanks to Homer) to kill James Bont.
