What's your favorite Homer daydream?
I like "Land of Chocolate." Also what he thought "ballet" was.

Oh I was going to pick that first one. I guess I'll go with this...What's your favorite Homer daydream?

YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN'T GLIDE!
Every combination of words has been a Simpsons line at this point. But "why won't I die" is a Simpsons line.
In other words:Every combination of words has been a Simpsons line at this point.
"Simpsons did it! Simpsons did it!"
I like that the next thing he says is where would the next idea come from, pointing to Marge and she goes "How about... Ghost Mutt!""Animation is built on plagiarism! If it weren't for someone plagiarizing the Honeymooners, we wouldn't have The Flintstones, If someone hadn't ripped off Sgt. Bilko, there'd be no Top Cat. Huckleberry Hound, Chief Wiggum, Yogi Bear? Ha! Andy Griffith, Edward G. Robinson, Art Carney!"
I would have had no problem (at least in theory) if Simpsons went on for as long as it did now, so long as we could've had everyone actually age up and go through permanent character growth as the series went on.
I really would've loved to see 30+ Bart and Lisa, Homer/Marge dealing with aging and retirememnt options and more story lines centred on Maggie as she grew up while Lisa/Bart went their own ways.
That's probably the only way the show could have stayed consistently good.
Honestly, the only 2010's TV phenomenons that I think will stand the test of time are Breaking Bad, some of the earlier Netflix originals, and maybe Game of Thrones.
"Hmm, I wonder what would happen if I robbed the Kwik-E-Mart...."
And every time Maggie tried to talk, she'd be interrupted.more story lines centred on Maggie as she grew up
There was that one great joke in Lisa's Wedding where one of parents, I think it was Homer, complained about Maggie running up the phone bill and said something like, "Won't that girl ever shut up?" But you never hear her speak in the episode. And every time Maggie tried to talk, she'd be interrupted.
I would be in there too!https://youtube.com/watch?v=xH9c_fehh9c
I gotta say, the inside of Homer's mind is a joyous and fun place. He even includes Marge in his warped fantasies!
That would be a fun running gag to do.There was that one great joke in Lisa's Wedding where one of parents, I think it was Homer, complained about Maggie running up the phone bill and said something like, "Won't that girl ever shut up?" But you never hear her speak in the episode.
