Ngl I've streamed some games on my phone with the volume off in a deer stand before lol.
Most of my spots have zero reception. Although thats always when the deer seem to come into range, when Im distracted on my phone not paying attention.

Yeah I personally think Rodgers might be the best QB ever in terms of mechanical ball throwing, even Brady said the same. And yeah I'm still pissed that pass didn't complete, I swear DK Metcalf is the smallest big receiver ever lol, the reason guys like Megatron were so dominant was because they literally towered over corners. DK is 6'4'' and plays like he's only 5'10''. Watching him fail the Geno ran Seahawks was so frustrating.

Yeah, we can blame dipshit Kwesi for that. Per media (AKA, Rodgers' agent putting out feelers) he REALLY wanted to come to Minne last season. A lot of dumb Vikings fans were saying "nuh uh, he's a packer bro"! but I really wanted to see it happen. I don't care what team players are from, he's in the top 3 best QB's of all time easily I want him on my fuckin team. He probably would have died in that Falcons game though lol
I mean i can understand why the Vikings didn't want him after previous season with the Jets and he wasn't as much on the level Favre had when he moved to Vikings (or so i read)

I want to touch on the legendary bag securers in the league and remind everyone of Ryan Fitzpatrick. 147 starts over 17 seasons. 59-87-1 overall record with 84 fumbles. He holds 16 overall NFL records and 7 team specific records and never appeared in the post season. And he turned 3 good games in Tampa into a starting contract with Miami ($19m over 2 years) at the end of his career.

Man locked down $80-97m (depending where you look) for what was almost certainly light lifting for the most part.

We got rid of Aaron Jones for this shit?!
Thanks for giving the Seahawks your RB2 in free agency! Hope Jordan likes scampering!

Reddit is still more offended at Dart right now I bet.
The ability of redditcore football fans to get faggy about the reality that most football players have the opposite politics they do, especially the white ones, is second to none.
The pretty reddited guy who makes The Draw Play comic (generally ok, you just have to roll your eyes whenever that seeps out, it's not a dealbreaker, most of the time) made yesterday's comic and its attached essay into a seething rant about Dart endorsing Trump being the worst thing that's happened in Giants fandom so far the past few years.

I never really understood why people take the political opinions of football players seriously. Like for real the majority of these dudes have actual physical brain damage and their life circumstances are wildly different from the average person's

I think it's less that they take their political opinions seriously (a disclaimer similar to what you mentioned re: athlete brain health/privilege is almost always there), and more that it's preemptive ingroup signaling that they aren't a problematic sports fan and outgroup signaling that nobody else should share opinions with the athlete in question.
Basically there's a lot of nerds who never got over high school in sports fandom (blame the internet/stats tracking), and it's when athletes remind them too much of their childhood that they get squirrelly.

Extremely bad move in retrospect. Now the Packers have the guy who has glass bones and 2 literally whos as RB1-3. Jordan Love makes me nervous every time he takes a hit while rushing, although he did look really cool decking that one guy vs Washington that one time.

I've gone from a hopeful we get a redo of last season with hopefully less injuries to our best players (statistical probability) to now we have no run game and it's possibly totally fucking over, 4th place in the division feelings. Worst case scenario and the Packers need a new RB1, the RB free agent situation looks all old and/or with severe question marks about injuries. I need a rookie Eddie Lacy to materialize out of nowhere for them to have any shot at the playoffs.
