Please don't. People are too autistic to realize you can have a little nonsense now and then.
I agree. It just invited the retards to shit up the thread. It should only be done in very rare instances. Like Antonio Browns evolution into lolcow and his subsequent antics, or when rhe NFL foolishly decided it was a good idea to create an unmoderated discord for fans. Stuff like that should be featured, not when the head coach (who is a nigger) of the Steelers (steal, a thing niggers do) retires. Its just asking for shitlords to shit up the thread.

Bills vs. Broncos will either be a blowout for the Bills or will be a hilarious 4th quarter.

The way the entire Wild Card round went with apparently no one showing up until the 4th quarter all weekend, I'm guessing the latter.

Plot Twist I guess - the Bronco's might not be frauds, they just discovered the meta for this season first...

The Broncos aren't frauds. People have been trying to desperately sell them as being ones. The Broncos are a good team, they are a really talented team. Their main problem is that their talent isn't evenly distributed across the team. It is way too lopsided, with most of it being heavily on the defense and offensive line.

It isn't that they aren't capable of performing. From a coaching standpoint they have figured out how to out-strategize their opponents. Utilizing what they have while making sure what they don't have doesn't impact them too much. It is just a matter of them making sure they don't falter don't the stretch.
How appropriate that with Tomlin gone, the final full time member of Days of Our Steelers is gone. Maybe this bit can finally be retired.

Tree has been wanting to retire Days of Our Steelers since 2018 ended. He'll never do it simply because the Steelers can't help themselves with their ineptitude.

Who knows though? Firing Tomlin might be the first sign that the franchise is ready to move in the right direction for a change.

Bronco's have somehow won a ton of games I thought they should of lost so it should be interesting watch.

Texans defense breaking the Patriots would be amazing. I've got to many Patriots fans in my life who think the dynasty has returned.

Bears keep winning close games in fourth quarter. I can't just write them off no matter how much make-up their LGBTQB wears.

I don't see how the 49er's defense can stop Seattle but I can see how Seattle's stops them.

Remind them that the Patriots did this shit every decade. Suck for a bit, get to the super bowl. Suck for a bit, get to the super bowl. They did it in the 80s, 90s, 00s, and 10s. They got to win in the 00s and 10s because of Belichick's talent for bending the rules, and Brady.

I hope the Steelers enter a decade of sadness to the point where the fans dream of the 9-7 and 9-8 glory days.

Also, the Browns, Steelers, and Ravens have an opportunity to do the funniest thing possible with Tomlin, Harbaugh, and Stefanski.

Nobody is trading for Mike fucking Tomlin. He did not get fired, he stepped down. The Steelers still own his rights and any team who wants him would have to trade for them.

After how shit Belicheck is post Brady and with UNC? The Steelers don’t have a quarterback anywhere close to Brady’s level.

It's UNC. They're not a good football program. You can't just build something in one year out of nothing unless you're at a power house football program. If he went to LSU and struggled? Different story.

Oregon Ducks QB Dante Moore is returning to Oregon next season and won't be declaring for the NFL draft. Pretty surprising since he'd be a top 5 pick.

He can asked to be released, and I'm sure they'd grant his request.

He didn't though. I think he just wants to do broadcasting.

Because he shit tge bed completely in the CFB and got asswhipped by Mendoza so he's going to go back and try to tbe the #1 pick next year. Which isn't a bad idea when CFB is now paying you nillions to play at school.

Is college paying more than being the 2nd pick?

This is why a decade of sadness for the Ravens and Steelers would serve you guys some good. You need to learn what it is actually like to live through bad coaching and watch your team rebuild every three or four years.

True, but we've seen plenty of times a guy goes back for another year to chase a Heisman and/or national championship then his stock falls off a cliff. Moore might also be purposely avoiding the Jets with that retard Aaron Glenn as the head coach, which is understandable. Moore probably won't be the 1st overall pick in 2027 anyway if Arch Manning plays well enough. Still, it's an interesting decision for Moore to make.

No. It's a dumb decision. This year's QB class sucks aside from Mendoza. #2 pick is $52m over 4 years which would likely be guaranteed. You've got Raiders Jets Cards picking and they all need QBs so it's like what the fuck are you doing dude.

e: We also saw several college QBs play their way out of the draft this season. Let Allar be a lesson.

Drake Maye can't make stupid playoff rookie mistakes like fumbling twice. He was good in the second half and ultimately won the Patriots the game, but the Chargers defense - which is very good, was essentially a scrimmage for what the Pats will see against the Texans. The Texans defense is elite. They don't do any fancy disguises or schemes, it's literally just an insanely fast four man rush, and lockdown corners, and linebackers that will light your receivers and TEs the fuck up in the middle of the field. If Drake Maye is as good as I and other Pats fans believe he is, he has to play big boy football and score a couple touchdowns on that defense. Luckily for the Pats, CJ Stroud and the Texans offense isn't great, especially if Nico Collins is out. The game will decided on whether or not the Pats offense can beat Houston's defense.
The Charger game aged me like 10 years, by the end of the Houston game I expect to be going gray.

Great read. I am not a Texans fan, but some people I love very dearly are and this is their assessment as well. It reminds me of the LOB to be honest, the blatant "Fuck you, stop us." philosophy that is always a thrill to watch.

Nothing against clever blitz packages and secondary swaps, but being blatant and still succeeding is kind of awesome. Demeco is already the GOAT Texans coach.

So, what do the Steelers do, and does anyone actually trust Art Roonie on hiring a new HC? The funny options are hiring Harbaugh or Stefanski, and the boring option is probably just promoting Arthur Smith, and of those 3 names I can guess which is more likely to happen.

Jonnu Smith is gonna be getting the ball a LOT…
Raheem Morris found his new gig thanks to the Rooney rule. :story:
