I need to sperg about the Eagle's fanbase for a min. Yes Patullo needs to figure it out, but he's a first time playcaller and we're in week 2. Last season the fanbase was crucifying Kellen Moore at this time and he was an established OC who is now a Super Bowl Champion and a head coach. I'm seeing comments incredulous that the the offense isn't figured out yet.

A lot of the vocal fanbase listen to retards like Fat Sil for their football insight, so it's no wonder they're fucking idiots. You think the MSM shouty shows are dumb? Tune into your local shouty shows sometime. Philly fans are showing up to a cookout at the shore, eating lobster, and chimping out that it wasn't surf n' turf.

Is Spags fucking chopped liver now? He was trying every trick in the book. Was Mahomey not like 56-13 at Arrowhead before last night? Are the Eagles not a run first, protect the ball offense with a terrifying defense? It's not 2022. Shane Steichen is gone. We're not getting his offense back unless there are some radical staffing changes. Fans need to get over it. It's not 2023 either. Whether KP is another Brian Johnson is yet to be determined, but Vic is no Desai.

We're missing three key blockers for the run game. The o-line were incredible in pass pro and cleaned up the blocking. Jake the Make is back. Z'Darius Smith just got here and is having an impact. I didn't see him half-assing the run like he did in Detroit and Cinci either. Makuba isvimproving week to week like he's DeJawn. Jihadi Campbell is a dynamic playmaker finding his game as well.

Yes the offense needs to get better. WR spacing and routes look uninspired. The playcalling appears predictable, but we kneeled it out to win the game. This year's schedule is a hell of a lot more difficult than last year's. The house is not burning down.

I bet someone shows up across the street from Novacare with a sign this week. If not, it'll be next week unless Jalen throws for 350 against the Rams. It wouldn't be Philly if they didn't.

Yeah I get it. Eagles fans, myself included, have a long tradition of complaining and being dicks throwing beer and snow at Santa. It's just what happens in Philly.
That was just a drunk guy from the crowd they brought out. I can't recall if the actual Santa didn't show up or if they got him on the field because they were trying to placate an agitated crowd, but the guy was fucking wasted and had been rowdy the entire game.

They myth of the Philly fanbase and lazy media has everyone thinking it was a mall Santa.

The Bengals are now sniffing around for a QB

Idk how I feel about that. A backup QB is invaluable in this day and age where starters for every team seem to miss a few games every year. Malik Willis played admirably when he had to this year and I'm way more comfortable with him than whichever godforsaken QB3 we cycle through everywhere. However, a 2nd is pretty nutty considering we traded a 7th for him just last year so the value is obvious.

I love Malik Willis. As cool as it would be to watch Willis get a chance to be the de facto QB1 somewhere for a few months, I want him on the Packers right now. Game 1 Jordan Love already fell weird while doing a scramble and scared me. A good backup is too valuable to lose and he's shown he can run the offense and win games if something happens to Love. I suspect they'd have to offer more than market value for him to make the Packers consider a trade, especially when there's a lot of other QB2s out there on teams who feel less confident in them.

I mean, the Falcons have a gently used Kirk Cousins they could have. Probably relatively cheap, too.

The funny option is just seeing what the Browns want for Sanders, but I think the Bengals actually want to win games…

I just dont see them trading for a QB. Zac was emphatic when we signed Desmond Ridder that Browning was the back up and there was no competition. Then on Sunday after the game he made sure to mention how respected he is in the locker room. They aren't looking for a guy to start and they're not going to send draft capital away for a back up.

Most likely they are going to pick up a veteran like Taylor Heinicke, or one of the half dozen guys they've had in camp and on the practice sqaud the last few years. I'd even say I would think they would reunite Ryan Tannehill and Zac Taylor before they traded for a guy.

The draft capital is cheap, but the contract is something I think is an immediate no-go for the Bengals. I'm not even considering the cap situation since I've got no idea in that regard, I just don't see Mike Brown spending money.

According to some Packers reporter, the Bengals allegedly offered a 6th. If true, whoever made that offer deserves to get their ass kicked for wasting Gutekunst's time. Do they even know how leverage works?

Kirk also has a no trade clause. I think he'd rather wander around the sidelines with a clipboard instead of dying.

The Colts are 2-0. The Texans are 0-2.
Hell is freezing over and Mixon is nowhere to be found.
Will be making an edit of him sometime soon.
