At least Buffalo's new stadium will be an open one.
It seems like they have a good plan of keeping it open for fun snow games and retaining that advantage but also using some cool technology to keep snow off the seats and heat the field so games don't have to be delayed or relying on fans to shovel the whole stadium

Packers Defense is making me have high hopes.
If Jordan Love and the receivers get back on the same page for those long bombs it's over for the rest of the NFC.

Another strong Packers defense performance. Still early in the season, but so far it's looking really good. Offense still has some things to work out, the run game wasn't all there and they're still not connecting on the deep passes. Special teams sucks, especially on punt returns where they either get no gain on the return or any halfway decent return is because of a holding penalty.
Overall, it was a good win against a good team on a short week. 2-0.

Yeah, my Reskins lost, but we kept it close.

Look my expectations are regression from last year and a hope of 9-8, I’ll take staying within 10 points against a team with a real defence.

I agree! Thanks Jerry! Trading the best player on your team (who is at the start of his prime BTW) for two late 1st round picks, and a DT with a lot of miles on him because you're a senile retard who got his feelings hurt was brilliant.

Micah closes a big hole that the Packers needed closed. I don’t see them missing the playoffs if they keep up this level of play.

My Seahawks’ defense almost looks really good. Almost.

The big problem with the Packers defense last year was the pass rush. Parsons himself is getting pressure and drawing double teams, but the other guys are stepping up as well. Also the secondary is playing better than I thought they would.

I still don't think the Packers are an elite team, but I think they've proven early on that they're at least very good and should make the playoffs. Also, Jeff Hafley (D coordinator) is going to be a hot head coach candidate in the offseason.

Welp. Packers win. Somewhat expected.
Interesting news on both sides, for the worse.
Austin Ekeler Achilles tear is believed to be likely after a non-contact injury. Confirmation should be coming around today.
Jaylen Reed broke his collar bone.

Biggest waste of a talent in the history of the NFL Maybe waste is too harsh of a word. Squander maybe? Between the Colts mismanaging his injuries and him not really caring about football. He could have been one of the all time greats.
Sadly, the Colts roster actually got pretty good the season he decided to retire.

I do have a lil' conspiracy theory that they pushed him to retire though. It came out later that he fucked his shoulder up bad while snowboarding in the offseason. NFL contracts typically prohibit players from engaging in dangerous activities, so the Colts likely could've voided his contract if he was too injured to throw but that would look weird for everyone involved. The timing of his retirement was so odd that I think something must've been up.
