Is that a hot take even? I'm right there with you on that
Among fans, the hotness of the take entirely depends on how many Chargers and Bengals games they've been watching.
In the media? Absolutely. Saying either of those guys aren't Mahomes' biggest rivals this side of Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson is verboten.
They're overcorrecting from fucking up draft predictions in Herbert's case and giving Burrow way too much rope because he's, so far, the only active QB to keep Mahomes out of a Super Bowl since he became a starter.

It's not 2022 anymore

It hurts, but it's true.

One of my friends benched Cousins on his fantasy team before the game last night.

Our group of friends felt the need to do a wellness check on him, haha.

I have Cousins and Mooney on the bench, 79 points just sitting there, mocking me like the green goblin mask.

Once again I see people complaining that Mayfield didn't get a chance at the ball in OT. Frak that shit. If your defense sucks then the offense shouldn't be rewarded in OT. I hate that change for the Playoffs, they should stick with 1st team to score a td wins it.
Everyone who complains about that completely forgets that either:
A.) The team they like did something retarded (Favre pass across the body in the NFC Championship game)
B.) A team blew a significant lead (Falcons in the Superb Owl), or
C.) A defense completely shit the bed (Buffalo against the Chiefs in 13 seconds).

I was with you until this part and I say that as someone that's been on both ends of the old rule.

Darnold at 19 in 2024 is all I need to see to know this bait or weapons-grade retardation.

Feeding off of the bait/ignoring the dude who made the list, I just want to gush at how much better of a QB Darnold has become with proper coaching.
He's pulling off shit I didn't even expect from USC Darnold. Dancing in the pocket, making audibles at the LOS, he's not going to wow anyone with raw athleticism but he fucking knows the game now.
Fuck seeing ghosts.

Vikings fraud watch? Never would have guessed it'd be this close.

It was 17-0 at one point before the Jets scored a touchdown before the end of the first half. Rodgers looked like shit for the first 2 quarters
He's looked like shit all season, turns out it's hard for a geriatric to get back to form after tearing their Achilles.
Unless your name is Kirk Cousins apparently

I was so confused why this game was so early before realizing it's a London game.\
EDIT: That sack might be the dagger, that was pretty embarrassing
Editer: that was a damned good interception, gives the team a chance again

Rodgers you are 40 goddamn years old why the actual fuck are you throwing into triple coverage like that
EDIT: I'm going to have many questions if Minnesota blows this, because it's not just Sam Darnold regressing to the mean, the defense has also been fraudulent this half and that's been their cheat code.

Been mediocre play on every side of the ball from both teams in the 2nd half, really regret waking up for this shitty game.

It's like you can't engineer your way around teams playing during what would normally be their breakfast or something.
This is why I roll my eyes whenever someone suggests a European team.

EDIT: that overthrow to Wilson is fucking embarrassing for a QB of Rodgers' caliber
They absolutely do not have the time to be pounding the rock

Dude even ignoring how the Jets offense is a fucking mess right now Rodgers is WASHED
No communication with his wideouts, no presence in the pocket, no ability to dissect a defense.
He is DONE

This Buffalo vs. Houston game is compelling me to once again express my ire for black for black's sake uniforms.
You have navy blue, that's fine. There are like 2 teams in the league where black isn't totally forced
Hot take but I do really like a lot of the blackout uniforms. Detroit's from that seahawks game were awesome, big fan of the commies black camo, Philly's black alternates are great, loved those Falcons throwbacks. But something about these "H-Town" uniforms feels so forced and lame to me. It feels like they were trying to make a City Connect Jersey, which are almost all ass imo.
