I think they just got walloped by the massive run on WRs that happened in the middle of the round and their 2nd day WR picks are going to very much determine how bad extending Rodgers looks in hindsight. He's 100% the kind of QB to elevate comparatively raw receiving talent. I don't think they had realistic options besides building up the run D beyond massively reaching for a wideout out of desperation.

I don't think throwing everything at the wall for a first round WR really works out. Packers have like 9 more picks in this draft (2 second, 2 third, 4th, 5th, 3 7ths) so some mid tier WRs that Rodgers can work with seems like the play. But our defense is always a little bit suspect. Plus we spent a first round pick last year on Amari Rodgers. Our (realistic) WR core is Watkins, Cobb, Lazard, and Rodgers. Not terrible but not great. One or two mid round picks and then its decent. But we have Tonyan, 2 good backs, Rodgers at QB, and an improving defense
So is Charles Cross an okay OT? Are the Seahawks going to pick a QB in round 2 or will they openly tank with Geno Smith and Drew Locke? Although the people who wasted Russell Wilson and other players over the years deserve to be chucked into the Pacific
Also if you need a good laugh look up Ytber and Packers fan Tom Grossi reaction over the Packers picks in the draft, i laughed my ass off at that much salt being spilled

As a LT, he is considered to be a good pass blocker. I feel like these picks in early rounds, you can't really go wrong with linemen since thats probably one of the top positions on the field behind the QB. Seattle is probably in a rebuilding mode so if they decide to take a QB this year instead of trying to get one next year, then the entire organization's backroom should be yeeted into the Pacific
Tom Grossi is funny but I bet most of his salt was for acting purposes. Although Packers fans are known to be retards (experience this first hand at your favorite Wisconsin bar) these picks are actually pretty solid. Rodgers can do well with average stuff, he has a running game now, and having a really good defense to help out in January when a playoff game happens in the snow is better than having another WR that we can't throw to in 5 degree weather and snow

He's less of a risky prospect than Ifedi was when we drafted him. I dunno, we kinda suck at OL talent evaluation, so it's gonna take seeing him in the season to really have an idea of his potential. I'll be surprised if we draft a QB before the 4th round. Pete's more likely to build the trenches and improve the run game around Lock/Smith and we'll ride a middling to bad record to nab someone like CJ Stroud in 2023.

Next years QB draft looks really good. I wouldn't want to waste any draft capital this year with how deep every other position is on a QB if I didn't really need to

In all honesty, Pete doesn't need much at QB to do anything. I think you guys let Locke or Smith take the rains for 2 years, beef up other positions this year, get a QB next year that can sit for most the year and learn, and be good in 2 years.

I'll trade Packers fans for Ravens fans. Holy shit you would think the sky is falling because we chose the best center in the draft instead of Jermaine Johnson. Dude plummeted down the draft boards for everyone and Baltimore has been shy about taking anyone with personality issues after the Ray Rice incident. Oh and people REEing at full volume over the Hollywood trade. Hollywood wanted out, and he's expecting to get paid like AJ Brown did, even though Hollywood has this phenomenal ability to gator arm any pass his way if contact is inevitable.

Which teams have the worst fans and which have the least bad fans? Iknow i keep hearing certains fanbases in particular are unpleasant to say the least

The least bad fans are the ones you can tolerate from another conference. Usually the second team that you secretly support. The worst fans are the teams within your division

Over in my division in most disliked to least the order is Rams, 49ers and Cardinals (Well bandwagoners of the Rsms otherwise they are Cardinals fans tier (I cannot stand Stsn Kroenke with all he has done), 49ers are meh tier and i feel bad for Cardinals fans
I do like keeping up on the Bills
The answer is always no.
My fanbase is currently bitching about today despite us addressing two clear positions of need and none of these fuckers know jack about the top center prospects anyways.
(also tbh Chris Carson is almost certainly done now, neck injury + Pete being cagey + drafting his replacement while waiting for injury guarantees to be satisfied is exactly what we did with Kam when he broke his neck)

Of course its no. We drafted a decent WR and a RT for our line and yet people will be bitching because nobody knows what we actually need but they can certainly bitch about it
I'm just happy that my Steelers took Kenny Pickett. Even if he doesn't pan out I'll be fine with it. You can't have another repeat of the 1983 draft where they passed on Marino. Obviously it's highly unlikely that he'll reach the level that Marino did, but you can't pass on the opportunity to draft a potential franchise QB when it falls to you like that.
