I now officially love ai. Over the course of a month (with the bulk of the work being from the last two weeks and going much faster once i caved and subscribed to Claude) I went from a concept to a mostly fully featured htpc interface where you can install it on a minimal debian install and it'll pull in (almost) everything you need. i'm mostly fine tuning the settings, trying to establish sane defaults, and make the interface a bit more clear, intuitive, and pretty, but I basically achieved my goal of having a system I can run using a usb remote like this one, https://www.amazon.com/MX3-Pro-Universal-Projector-Raspberry/dp/B0FGJ9YFH9/

( do need to update the screen captures as claude can't screencap the quick menu)

I just have some niggling issues like ensuring apps get launched in full screen mode, but the AI works best if I can clearly describe what I want it to do. I think I can hook it to my htpc so it can run tests directly on it instead of a cloud environment which doesn’t have i3. I did try to include the options to enable and disable stuff I haven’t figured out how to finalize or clean up, and I welcome feedback or suggestions as to what needs to be fixed or prioritized
