Weird coincidence, but I've been doodling out my own tarot, based on the Inferno / woodcuts / some other shit. Guess I'll dump them here.

Title: Lovers, The Moon, The Empress
Medium: Macromedia Freehand
Challenge Name: Fortune Card
Description: Like, fucking Tarot cards, idk don't bother me
Time Spent: Too much
Art Specific Critique:
Sure.
Permission For User Edits: No fuck off wait I can't stop you

loverfin1.jpg

The Lovers. Depicts two retards standing in a forest of fucking rhubarb. There are onions and cabbages, which symbolize onions and cabbages.

moon.gif

The Moon. A retard is squatting in the moon with a pair of callipers measuring the earth. She is shitting out blood because women do that when they look at the moon. The moon is also an egg. The blood is also a womb and ovaries. There is a cow in negative space which symbolizes the labyrinth which is also an axe which is also a womb. Blake can't sue me because he's FUCKING DEAD.

empress.gif

The Empress. A retard is also four retards with retards for legs instead of legs because of Ovid. The card is the Suicide King but actually a Suicide Queen because I am pandering to Netflix and maybe something to do with the Metamorphoses idk. There are swords which are also blood. There are boobs which are boobs. Christ my backgrounds suck.

I wasn't aware of the challenge so when I was sent this it hit me like a brick

Kiwi_Farms_Week_3_The_Demon.png

Title: The Demon
Medium: Ibis Paint X with a subscription
Challenge Name: Fortune Card
Description: 'A warning, to always remember that demons lurk this world, hungry for hosts, and you must forever be vigilant of what you accept, even if it comes in the form of a childish, seemingly happy medallion. Mercy upon those who don't look past the surface, or even invite such curse intos their lives.' So a quick one this time, basically, since I will be tied up in other artly duties for the time being, but one that I enjoyed working on nonetheless.
Time Spent: Just a little over an hour.
Art Specific Critique: Yes, as harsh as you want.
Permission For User Edits: Sure

Okay, well, I bit off WAY more than I could chew for the food challenge and it became a mad dash just to get this presentable, fuck my life dude. :lossmanjack:None of you ever lift a FINGER to help me.

**It looks nice as a psd but slightly blurry exported no matter what file format I use, if you know what I’m doing wrong please let me know, I want it lookin crisp. DAMN THOSE PIXELS NICE.

Title: RIP CITY GAMBA JUICE
Description: THE ENERGY DRINK YOU NEED FOR THOSE ALL-NIGHT GAMBA SESHES. GET IT TWISTED. YOU WILL WIN. Made with real coca leaves.
Medium: Pixel Studio. Never used it before, took a lot of getting used to, had to make all my own dithering brushes. Might try a different pixel art program next time.
Challenge Name: Snack Pack
Art Specific Critique: It’s really not polished the way I’d like but I won’t complain. Should’ve kept the black lines, should’ve put a border around the letters to make them stand out but I just don’t want to work on it anymore.
Permission For User Edits: Use the lines to your heart’s content.
Challenge Feedback: Love all three challenges so far, keep this up and you’re golden.

Title: Tarot Reverse
Medium: pen
Challenge Name: Fortune Card
Description: For this one, I wanted to shout out one of the MATI Archivers who recently got their scapula destroyed. Thanks for all your work, MATI Archive #410. I hope this tarot card reverses your recent fortunes.
Time Spent: About 20 minutes. I'm sick in bed, so this one is a little short. I might rework it once I'm feeling better but wanted to get my well wishes out there.
Art Specific Critique: Yes/but no cyber bully I'm sick
Permission For User Edits: Yes
Challenge Feedback: This one was really neat.

Title: Uncertain
Medium: Krita and Wacom tablet
Challenge Name: Fortune Card
Description: Less of a tarot card and more of a Holy card
Time Spent: an hour or more
Art Specific Critique: Yes/harsh
Permission For User Edits: Yes
Challenge Feedback: Thanks for minding the superstitious
Future Challenge Suggestion: Kiwi Jungle, you stumble into a jungle tasked with making a sleeping and living quarters in the wilderness and brush. Drawing a structure of any sorts that you could (with a grain of salt) make in the woods, perhaps a simple lean to with focus on foliage or a cabin or a underground den. I think it would be neat you could also do a coin or currency theme with kiwi elements.

Medium: Procreate
Challenge Name: Fortune Card
Description: Everyone knows it isn't over till the fat woman sings! It's a time of transition from one caretaker to the next. But what if that bitch just never (ever) shuts the fuck up? It's the song that never ends... It goes on and on my friends...

You're ready to move, you've got your scooter packed and your waiting - but the doors aren't opening and your battery is running loooow.

Time Spent: Procreate says 6 hours with the canvas open. Was I drawing? Maybe.
Art Specific Critique: Yes
Permission For User Edits: I can't stop you
Challenge Feedback: I loved this one!

Title: "The Swarm".
Medium: digital, Paint Tool SAI 2.0.
Challenge Name: "Fortune Card".
Description: the insect demon you see was inspired by a recent dream I had. In this dream, it was my pet and was going berserk while trying to eat some other strange creatures (like the manworm-finger demon-god), eventually transforming into a beautiful & fierce eye. So I took it to make a new tarot card called "The Swarm", representing a great challenge one must overcome in order to merely survive or otherwise perish.
Time Spent: didn't keep track, but a fair amount since doing lines takes time, and the skull has a lot of lines.
Art Specific Critique: sure, however you want, and thanks in advance.
Permission For User Edits: you can use it.

No references used, also did some reskins/hue changing:

Title: SlobberMutt Chariot
Medium: Digital, program was Medibang
Challenge Name: Fortune Card
Description: A card associated with progress and triumph. Representative of the outer world aligning with inner, spiritual desires. The chariot driver speeds forward with focus and determination (and a little slobber).
Time Spent: Didn't time this one.
Art Specific Critique: Yes, light
Permission For User Edits: Yes, if someone does an edit please let me know what and how you did it.
Challenge Feedback: Great challenge idea. There are some gorgeous tarot cards sets out there. Originally I wanted to do the ace of wands but incorporate the Temple OS logo. I couldn't figure out a way to fill the rest of the card. Feel free to steal this idea. I might return to it later too.
Future Challenge Suggestion: Maybe drawing something in a specific style. "Draw (insert theme) in the style of 90's Disney animation/medieval art/Soviet propaganda". I still like the palette lock idea too.

For my metal piece:

Title: The Moon
Medium: Aluminum wire, 12 gauge. The crystal is dyed quartz wrapped in 24 gauge silver plated wire. I can't find my tape measure but it's approximately 8-9 inches in height and 5-6 inches in width.
Challenge Name: Fortune Card
Description: A card representative of the unconscious, darkness, and illusion. It tends to show up when one feels lost or uncertain. (The piece is one continuous piece of aluminum wire excluding the crystal. It can be replaced with another charm. I underestimated how much space I had for the text so the "M" unfortunately looks weird).
Time Spent: About 45 minutes.
Art Specific Critique: Yes
Permission For User Edits: Yes

Medium: digital
challenge name: fortune card

Challenge feedback: this was awesome seriously Loved this prompt it was like ESP

It's like this prompt was tailor made for my tastes. I'm gonna try to get another one out before the next challenge is posted, it just depends if I can get another idea laid out.

Title: The Devil
Medium: Krita using XP-Pen Artist 12 2nd Gen drawing tablet.
Challenge Name: Fortune Card
Description: Representing selfishness, impulsiveness, and a slavery to one's urges, The Devil often works in pairs, preying on commitments made between man and woman. Sometimes, one half of the pairing is more than willing to do The Devil's bidding on his behalf...It's a metaphor for the current state of IDubbbz and Anisa's marriage.
Time Spent: 3 hours start-to-finish.
Art Specific Critique: Yes, harsh.
Permission For User Edits: Yes.
Challenge Feedback: No critique, perfect prompt. The only thing I can say is that I hope this one makes a return sometime in the future because it has endless potential.

Title: The Fool
Medium: pencil, eraser(precision eraser this time, and boy oh boy is that thing useful)
Challenge Name: “Fortune Card”
Description: "My clock shows NNW o'clock. Must be a french model." Curious Kiwi explores picturesque ravine while Yellow Sun shines over montaine paradise. Based on a true story. While the previous challenge was going, I thought I had one more week to figure stuff out, while in fact I didn't.
This is a base of what I was planning to do for the previous challenge.
PostToKiwiArtBonus.jpg
I wanted to stretch the conditions a bit. It was supposed to be a gourmet chicken roast by the renowned chief Cinematique Roberto, made purely out of the freshiest ingredients you could buy from a vending machine. They don't sell whole chicken in the vending machines where you live? "Well, keep voting for republican facists if you don't want to feel the benefits of a civilized society, you chud" - Chief Roberto. Chicken roast with honey, american cheese and Mountain Dew glazing stuffed with Mars bars, with a side of jerky and cool ranch dorito mousse. A moderate after-breakfast snack, if you will.
Making it look the part is where I got stuck. For that I'd need colors, and my crayons are insufficient for the task. So, I feel like I need to start to figure out digital. So, guys, maybe you know a good guide that covers the basics of digital painting for somebody with a dilettant level of graphic program use?
Time Spent: Hour and a bit
Art Specific Critique: Yes
Permission For User Edits: Yes
Challenge Feedback: Cool. But I hardly know anything about tarot, so my choice of card was very much on a face value.
PostToKiwiArt1.jpg

Title: The Lovers, Justice and Death
Medium: Procreate, Clip Studio Paint for editing and a couple assets off Google for background stuff.
Challenge Name: Fortune Card
Description: Three cards based on the first lolcow I associated with the relative name; I had plans for another three but took too long. I also made a design for the back of the cards because I planned to try and make a 3D model but time was against me.
Time Spent: 3-4 hours
Art Specific Critique: Hit me
Permission For User Edits: Yes, and anyone else feel free to use my card back design for their own stuff
Challenge Feedback: This is the perfect kind of challenge in my opinion, allowing people to be as flexible as they want while staying on topic. I think it shows in the results too, this is some of the best submissions I've seen yet. Great work everyone!
