Water is super effective against ground typesAre Indians weak to water?

If you read through Indian history, it is just a sequence of mass deaths events which do not affect their overall preponderance in any way.Yeah but this is normal and the temperatures are like average Texas summer temperatures. I suspect this is more a play for sympathy by India than an actual threat.
From 2000 to 2020 there were something like 18,000 deaths in India due to heatwaves. This number is likely undercounted but that's the official government count.
In the USA from 1999-2023 there were around 24,000 deaths due to heatwaves. Ans that's in a much smaller population than India.
So sadly I don't think this will be a mass extinction event, though Indian's will wail like it is hoping for UN gibs. The same people proclaiming the dangers of wet-bulb overheating are the same folks who were certain polar bears would all be dead by now from heating. Not to say we aren't fucking up the planet, but the alarmist by their very nature tend to hype the worst-case scenario.

Fascinating coverage indeed, I love how even though they desperately try to paint all of this in the best light possible it still comes out looking like, well, Indiahttps://youtube.com/watch?v=69zjn_5NR94https://youtube.com/watch?v=sDbPtcDD4cohttps://youtube.com/watch?v=WPGMSHCGK18https://youtube.com/watch?v=g6bpFIUOsxIhttps://youtube.com/watch?v=tloKnYsvvqU
There's a French studio that does a ton of documentaries. Their Indian ones are interesting.
I guess but calling Mumbai "infernal" doesn't seem optimistic lolFascinating coverage indeed, I love how even though they desperately try to paint all of this in the best light possible it still comes out looking like, well, India
I liked "Bombay" better than "Mumbai", but Indians had to change it.Mumbai
That’s much nicer than anything any of us would call itI guess but calling Mumbai "infernal" doesn't seem optimistic lol
To be fair, India's economy was seen a positive light as recently as the previous decade.https://youtube.com/watch?v=2DPCI8ICoWs
He doesn't shit on India nearly as much as he should, but beggars can't be choosers.
Also lmao him thinking India could have experienced the economy rise of other Asian nations.
Being qualified for a job should be based on competency requirements, regardless of college degree (not all colleges are equal in education quality). If who gets in makes it seem like "systemic racism" or "sexism", oh well. Better to be "racist" and have qualified people than to be "antiracist" and have people who were only hired for "identity"?The civil rights act created this problem.
This would have the net result of making male eastern asians and whites the most employable demographics globally. This is, generally, how it plays out in merit-based industries already. It would make the hiring of office staff an amusing prospect though.Being qualified for a job should be based on competency requirements, regardless of college degree (not all colleges are equal in education quality). The Japanese have been pretty much isolated on their archipelago for centuries. So when there is no real exposure to foreigners, a number of them may think it is a wonderful thing to have foreigners living among them, as if the foreigners will always blend in with the local ways -- just like the foreigner characters in fictional media. Yet, with endless migrants from dysfunctional crapholes and incompatible values start flooding in, it seems they are starting to notice change. Reiwa Japan sure isn't Heisei or Showa.Japanese people are way too naive and liberal
Try 25% of births being from South Asia
And he shows dark-skinned people. Ironic. On the lighter side of things
It is true. Despite my parents residing in [insert non-India country], just before my mother's water broke, there was a 17.8% chance that I'd randomly spawn in India. Thank God that didn't happen. Stay strong.
I am so terribly biased that I think this argument is retarded. Could you confirm if this is true or not? I don't know much about fictional Japanese media besides three or four animes I liked. The Japanese have been pretty much isolated on their archipelago for centuries.
