The more I deal with Indians, the more I can’t stand them.
On the whole I prefer dealing with Indian women over Indian men (as a white woman), but in my profession I deal with a lot of them, mostly Indians I assume to be high caste because of their occupation.
Mostly I’m happy that even though I don’t like Indians, the woman are away from the rabid rape gangs of Indian men.
There’s an Indian woman I come into contact with that’s always been pleasant and makes small talk with me, thought she might have been a rare one until I witnessed her utter disgust and anger with a small thing that one of her subordinates neglected to do, then launched into a diatribe of how lazy and ungrateful and unprofessional they are.
Almost none of her subordinates are Indian, but they’re definitely what I would consider low caste if America had a caste system.
Barely any of them speak English, but they’re friendly and do their work without interrupting anything or putting in zero effort in.
Whoever thought it was a good idea to put an Indian woman into a position of power over literal janitors and people who clean up trash, is fucking insane.
She views them as Dalits despite being in America, and I’m pretty sure she only treats me well because I also have a level of education and am white.
That’s the first time I’ve seen what I would consider caste based discrimination in action, it was eye opening.
