Nah. Jeets and Chinks are very much the same in this point; one may call it izzat and the other face, but the point is, it's only wrong and embarrassing when an outsider sees it and judges them negatively for it. Just like the Chinese see no problem in adding concrete dust to milk powder (or whatever the fuck the latest scandal happens to be) as long as they're not caught, the Indians see no problem in wallowing in filth as long as someone he perceives as a superior (such as a member of a higher caste) doesn't censure or shame him for it.

In that way, they're much like Nepalese guardian statues or Slavic household spirits (if you want a more modern reference, think SCP-173 and Weeping Angels): they'll do their thing while unobserved but, as soon as a non-peer glances at them, they'll stop and act inoffensive until you turn your back again.

I wanted to add this to my OP. "Singh" means "lion", "Kaur" means "princess". All baptized Sikhs are supposed to add the name to their own, according to one of the founding gurus, who wanted to erase caste-based differences and prejudices. Some folk use it as a middle name and keep their family name at the end, especially in the West.

All this to say, I thought some folk rated my post "horrifying" because having the same last name means they're all related. I mean, they probably are, but not necessarily.

1.it was an israeli tourist in india, we arent stupid, were not gonna let these guys in

2. we dont use as many indians for labor as we used to, we hire thai tweakers instead to work in farms (we are a food exporter due to having virtually unlimited water and pretty good climate for growing stuff, but its not worth it to hire jews, we demand too much pay)
