It is long since past time we stop catering to foreign outsiders in Western countries. Either speak that country's language, or get the fuck out. Are you a foreigner in the US, England, Ireland, Scotland, or Wales? Then speak fucking English. Are you a foreigner in Germany? Speak German. Have you decided to become a burden on the taxpayers of France? Then speak fucking French. Enough with the translators and multilingual bullshit. All business should be done in the language of each respective country, from doctors visits, to filing police reports, to taking out loans, to signing contracts. Don't like it? Then fuck off back to whatever shithole country speaks your language. If you don't speak our language in our country then you're not getting a fucking thing. You can starve, or bleed out, or have all your shit stolen from you and never recovered because the police couldn't understand your gobbledygook moon speak.

To be fair, that's not really a problem here in France. Most of our immigrants comes from our ex-colonies, so they speak some kind of French, even if it is a regional dialect. They still need to go back.

It's seriously sad. Once heard a podcast about animals developing a taste for human flesh, and somehow half of the stories were set in India and involved some panther or whatever that was crippled and couldn't hunt properly anymore, so it went for the easiest food source possible: Indians. Humans are supposed to be apex predators, but not Indians. They're poverty food for crippled big cats and trains.

Simple surface level investigation:
Page was made in 2023, and all the admins of it are US accounts (at least thats what Facebook says), however none of the 7 accounts have completed Facebook's account verification process, which is telling.
If anyone is knowledgeable in the ways of Faceboomer or leaks thereof, do chime in.

I think it's kinda funny that the Crusader Kings games have mods to exclude India from the map. The stated reason is to improve performance since otherwise there's a lot of bloat from all the regions and characters, but I think a lot of people also just wanted to remove curry. It is kind of annoying that it's included in the base game since the average player is going to be controlling a Christian or Muslim domain and never interact with an Indian ruler over the course of a game. It should have been a separate map.

The HOI4 countries are reliving the greatest war of their history, be it the great patriotic war, the Austrian trying to simulate the adventures of a failed painter, or the Japanese relapsing into their bloodlust. The old great European powers obsessing over the Golden days long past either in Europe or their globe spanning empires in EU4, and the anglosphere not concerning themselves with the long gone past and imagining a bright future as fanatical purifiers across the galaxy (South korea trying to forget it's agonizing past and the krauts being so utterly mentally buck broken that they can't fathom committing wrongthink reliving their past).

Meanwhile the thirdies who can afford a computer are more preoccupied re-enacting the dark ages. Noble blood feuds, holy wars, cousin marriage, plagues. Latin America fits into the aforementioned historical buck breaking of the EU4 days but India wants to live in the dark ages. I find it hilarious that even when being simulated the mere presence of India in a video game pollutes it so bad people want to remove it (paradox games are infamous for performance problems, excess jeets exacerbates it.) Undesirable no matter the context.

That survey was from 2019 and about just paradox games, if paradox games were mainstream to the point that they could be #1 in a country I would be deeply concerned about humanity

Makes sense, Japan actually has their own homegrown grand strategy scene, with the most popular series being Nobunaga's Ambition and Romance of the Three Kingdoms, both by Koei.
