It doesn't take a terminal doomer like Fatpacks to correctly predict that within a decade, Microshaft will either be completely dead, or a shell of its former self (like AOL). There are too many Jeets running M$ at this point for them to effectively course correct by getting rid of the human waste that's writing the majority of new code for Windows.If you ever wondered why Windows is so awful, consider that they have so many Indians that "Microsoft faces allegations of caste-based discrimination"
70-80% of Microsoft consists of Indian H1B workers and they are all pushing up to 30% AI code straight to production
Maybe sometimes Fatpacks has a point.
My guess is that in the future, Windows will go the way of IBM OS/2; it'll be sold off to some other company that keeps it updated for a small niche of legacy enterprise use cases.
