Maybe we can start with a history section. It would give the reader an idea where india started and how various stupid ideas took root in their culture (caste system, cow poop, etc). It shouldn't explain those topics, just introduce them as ideas.
Then introduce the jeet as a physical entity. What is a jeet, what are its physical characteristics, what does it eat, what is its reproductive cycle,what is its environment look like. This segues into india as a physical place (pollution etc).
Then we describe jeet society, jugaat, izzat, organisation (or lack thereof) etc.
Then jeets emigrating, western immigration, but also them being used as slaves in the oil countries and being pests in thailand.

Yes, you can start an OP with the bare minimum as long as you make it clear that it's a WIP and explain what the purpose of the thread is. A skeleton or bullet list of things you intend to write should be included just in case (Copy and paste what you wrote plus @Waffle Iron). However if you make a really shitty OP with little effort or direction then it's likely to be deleted by the mods. I think this is a worthwhile project though.

Incredibly anecdotal, but almost every half-attractive Indian female in my circles (excluding ones who arrived married) tend to display preference for white groups and dislike browns (including hispanics, whom they see certain simlarities in their treatment of Indian women to Indian men--simply put, hispanics feel more emboldened to harass Indian or brown women because they feel that there are fewer consequences to such actions). I remember one of them just casually blurting out "I hate Mexicans" in the middle of a conversation and mentioning several instances of sexual harassment. They didn't even mean Mexicans, they meant hispanics, yet despite being American-born she absolutely did not care to afford them the courtesy of their politically correct title of Latinx/Hispanic/People Of Border/etc.

A while back there was a post that showed that across most of india they hit sub replacement level. The demographic concept that poverty creates loads of babies is outdated. Plenty of poor places have their birthrate plummet.
I think it makes sense. Brothers/sisters are close in genetics, family structure and age. Inheritance/clan structure/marriage gifts would flow quite normally if multiple brothers/sisters married one person. In the Bible there is the story of the guy that had to marry his brother's widow, replacing him as a provider. God killed him when he pulled out. Adding my 2 cents to this, the reason a lot of Eastern European countries lag behind Western ones is the fact that public education is severely neglected. They see education as something optional, and glorify an idea of "carving your own path", which usually involves a network of relatives, this in turn strengthening the tribal in-group bias.
This then reinforces the idea that education is optional and not something needed to advance in life, and therefore most of them either always remain midwits, or need to emigrate West where their education is appreciated. You end up with a bloated bureaucracy full of people who have no idea what they are doing, and things work just barely because there are some key people who hold everything together. It's a system that punishes you for being good at something and not needing to rely on your acquaintances.

The sum-zero izzat game is not unique to india. Practically every country that still uses squatting toilets (which ranges from africa, to eastern europe, to southeast asia) has some level of the izzat game going on. However, india takes izzat to the utmost extreme and has solidified it through caste heirarchies (built on the izzat concept, ie. for brahmins to have +++ izzat, dalits must exist who have --- izzat), being conquered, and kuch nahi hota.
"Kuch nahi hota" means "nothing will happen" or "nothing ever happens", depending on the context. I honestly don't know when this started, but it's probably either because the coolest thing you can do in India is not die, or because Indians believe in reincarnation, so therefore they take more risks with their life. Kuch nahi hota (I'm going to refer to it as Indian Nonchalance), is what Indians defer to in the face of danger. The drinking water is full of fecal coliform? Kuch nahi hota. You are driving recklessly? Kuch nahi hota. You decided to walk along the train tracks and film yourself? Kuch nahi hota.
Indian nonchalance increases izzat, while caring about consequences decreases one's izzat. If an Indian man recklessly speeds through traffic, without a seatbelt, and arrives at his destination unharmed, then he has proven that "nothing ever happens" and thus has increased his izzat. If a woman continues to feed her infant dirty food and the child is able to grow into adulthood despite the constant diarrhea, then she has proven that "nothing ever happens" and thus improves her izzat and solidifies her standing as a wise, ayurvedic-promoting woman. This concept is also why Indians will hold onto ancient traditions, and refuse to update their customs according to modern scientific developments. For example, they will insist "do not worry, nothing will happen, our ancestors did this and nothing happened" while drinking from the Ganges.
This also ties into the jugaad problem. There is nothing unusual about DIY-ing some solutions when you are seeking a shortcut or temporary fix. Being poor never meant that one couldn't be resourceful or creative. What makes jugaad so deadly is the Indian nonchalance behind it. They don't worry about their makeshift support beam falling over and killing someone because in their mind, nothing ever happens. If a fellow Indian expresses any concern about the safety of the jugaad, he will lose izzat for it, and whoever he expressed the concern to will remind him that "kuch nahi hota".
Overall, the izzat game does completely explain every aspect of indian society, but I felt that this aspect of their mentality was also worth bringing light to.
Edit: Apparently in India, women give dowries to men, which is insane. Imagine paying Indian men to marry you. An Indian man must've come up with that. Anyways, apparently some of the more intelligent Indian women who are able to secure medical residency spots, often sell them as dowries to Indian men.
Where I (24F) come from, the dowry system is still very prevalent despite it being illegal in our country. Giving dowry in crores is the norm. Literally every married couple I know is guilty.

I’m a junior doctor who is preparing for NEET PG, a famously difficult exam that successfully turns a good chunk of enthusiastic new docs into emotional raisins. Many of my colleagues have spent years studying for it and have attempted it multiple times to get a speciality of their choice.
Gone are the days when grooms demanded just a few crores in land, cars and gold. Now they’ve added on PG seats in private medical colleges to the list. These seats go for a shit ton of money (anecdotal evidence : a deemed college offered a MD medicine seat for 2.75 crores).
Two docs that I know of have demanded this from their brides(also doctors, of course we inbreed professionally) on top of all the other generic gifts that’s expected .
I’m shocked. We are all very well educated and from supposed “ good” families, and to see members of my fraternity taking part in this nauseating practice has me questioning the kind of people I surround myself with. Well to be fair, they’re my colleagues and not my friends but I would have hoped that being in a profession that preaches humility, service and sacrifice would deter people from being willing participants of this misogynistic tradition.
Have I mentioned that all the men that I know who are taking part in this are guys in their 29-30s who have nothing going for them apart from being doctors. They have the personality of flour and the women are all 5 years younger docs who have just graduated.
I don’t understand how this is a fair exchange at all. If anything, the women should be the ones getting paid to take these overgrown children off their parents hands.
