My Indian co-worker is now roughly 75k in dept because he bought a new kitchen and a new car. Nothing wild about it right?

Well, he didn't like the color of his of old kitchen, so he needed a new one. So his kitchen isn't white anymore, but eggshell white or something (I couldn't tell the difference between old and new on the pictures).

Why a new car? He drove a BMW 3 series before, pretty new and still in good condition, but another co-worker got a newer, fancier BMW, so he had to get a better one. He said so himself. He went with all the extras, sport suspension, exhaust and brakes and whatnot. But the smallest engine.

And all that on a whim, without thinking about it. I would've spent months of research if I'd have to make such big financial decisions. He just went shopping like we'd go to the supermarket to buy groceries. Lunacy.
 

92% Indian Youth Want Global Jobs, If Provided Free Visa: Report​

More than nine in 10 (92 per cent) of Indian youth would like to apply for global jobs if provided with free visa, hiring and training support, a report said on Monday.
A lack of guidance, trust issues, and limited access to reliable resources are key barriers to talent mobility in today's global economy, especially with the rising immigration-related scams, AI-powered global talent mobility platform TERN Group said in its survey report.
According to the survey, 57 per cent of respondents lack knowledge about how to initiate the application process.
The report also highlights a gap in career guidance and access. About 34.60 per cent of respondents said they had trust issues with working overseas due to the rise in unreliable agents and foreign recruiters.
High fees, which are frequently associated with dishonest or ambiguous service providers, deterred 27 per cent of respondents, the report highlighted.

The two biggest facilitators of gaining access to a worldwide career were language support, endorsed by 36.5 per cent of respondents and quick job matching (63.5 per cent).
"India is home to one of the world's youngest and most ambitious workforces - yet millions remain cut off from global opportunities. At the centre of this problem lie unaddressed systematic challenges, like unethical agents and recruiters charging exorbitant fees and scamming candidates," said Avinav Nigam, Founder and CEO, TERN Group.
"Another challenge faced by the youth is a lack of quality upskilling programmes for a smooth transition into global workspaces," Mr Nigam added.
The survey was conducted on 2,500 aspiring professionals across high-demand sectors like healthcare, logistics, and engineering, highlighting key gaps in talent mobility.
Nearly 79 per cent of respondents were from the healthcare industry, which includes paramedical staff, dental assistants, and nurses.
At a time when nations like Germany, the UK, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Japan are experiencing severe shortages in skilled labour, the data shows an untapped talent pool ready to contribute to global health systems.

By 300 AD a lot of italians were city dwellers and unfit for service. Rome recruited from the provinces since that's where the farm boys were. The senate was pretty much useless by 300 since it got purged and strongarmed by a series of emperors during the crisis. Citizenship was given to all to prop up tax revenue.
Roman assimilation was very effective. Remember, before Roman conquests the Italians all identified as their own people and state. Gauls were seen as barbarians, but were well integrated by the end. But we don't call France Gaul, we call it France, because Franks invaded and took over. Iberia, Egypt, Tunis also held up well, but Iberia and Egypt got hit by Muslims, while Tunis first got hit by Vandals, then by Muslims. Greece and Anatolia were so well integrated they kept being Romans well past the Ottoman conquest. In the end Muslim conquests and a flood of migrants shattered the Roman empire and prevented it from ever coming back together.

China also had countless dynasties and shattered into kingdoms plenty of times. Europe being a patchwork of nations might be why it deviated that strongly in the 18th century onward, but it is hard to say if a Roman empire that restabilized itself would've prevented Europe from deviating.

We should get one for every major religion. A ✝️ for Christian content, ✡️ for jewish content, 💩 for Dharmic content, ⛩️ for Shinto content. They would be pretty flexible too.

Remind them on the regular that despite the sheer number of bodies in India, they haven't been remotely prominent in any major sports and especially not the Olympics. I made a post once upon a time about how utterly miserable life was and is in India if you have the misfortune to be born female. CP is legal and normalized and women are considered less than cattle (which they also rape). There's an old district that's still active where girls as young as 10 are sold to brothels and immediately put to work, and since it's a hopeless shithole they often have no goal in life than to become a mistress themselves to repeat the cycle. The average indian woman can still expect a hard life and is unlikely to get any kind of education.
Everything in india is so stacked against females and I have no idea why Westerners and Europeans got the idea it's an enlightened land and people. Maybe it's because for many decades the 'face' of india was their brahmin caste. It's not like the lives of their men are much better but they're incredibly hateful and cruel to each other as a culture. They've completely polluted their Ganges River which is supposed to be the body of a goddess, and this is by a people who are so superstitious they think moldy condensation on a religious statue is a gift from the gods (long story). It's a perfect representation of the jeet.
It's like another Kiwi said here, they have such awesome myths about the great virtues and definitely don't have stories about raping bobs amd vagenes to death, yet here they are.

What do they even do over there that requires them to be present in such large numbers? I've been to some Gulf countries and from what I could see, they mostly work janitorial or menial labour jobs. They were present everywhere working what would be considered Dalit jobs back in India and being treated as such.

Nigga I know what life is like for their females in the current age. I want to know what was going on in the subcontinent back when all Indian women (and presumably young girls) used to run around wearing nothing but a skirt. These dudes are already so perverted about fully clothed women, so how did they used to act when their entire population of women were naked 24/7? All I can find are some limited Umayyad accounts of the phenomenon. Libtard watering-down (censorship) always makes it impossible to find the real, juicy details of how ugly things were in some places.
