Does anyone have data on hand for the Indian subcontinent's pre-colonial population number? Africa's was miniscule relative to the continent's size (10-16 million) and North America was similarly unpopulated before European colonization (~10 million). India has always been a hotbed of disease, so without Anglo medicine and agriculture it couldn't have been particularly high.

By the way, it really is remarkable that most Third Worlders are alive today only by the grace of petroleum and tragically well-meaning Europeans.

That and life in the west is oppressive excessively expensive and miserable too. Used to be you could have 5 kids on only one income. Then women got forced into the workforce to create economically orphaned children. And cost of living was deliberately increased to push the trend along. Now everything sucks and the west has the lowest birthrates. It's the future you chose. Should have never let the government form the central bank in 1916. The Greatest Generation, my ass. They are guilty of treason.

The worst thing about immigrants is how much they drink the Kool Aid.

I hate that very soon dog poo is not going to be the only thing that is left uncleaned-up in the streets.

The west is unaffordable. India is easily affordable.

Housing is not a problem in India. Homeless? Take a home or build it, the government cannot stop you. Hungry? Steal, nothing will happen. Poor? Exploit others, India has no real laws and an entry level scam career makes enough to scrape by.

Contrast with America:

Homeless? Sorry, your land isn't zoned for development, no new homes sir. Hungry? Eat shit, here's some corn syrup. Poor? Fuck you, jobs are for nazis, become a sex worker online. Jaywalked? 5 star wanted level, enjoy prison, child.

Jeets come to America and don't know 50s Americans had a better quality of living for the same proportional prices as Indians do now. They come here, make it worse, and then shit on us for being the victims.

India and China are two regions which were historically always overpopulated shitholes. Not 1.4 billion overpopulated, but overpopulated nonetheless, for example in the 13th century it's estimated that there were 140 million Chinks, which would make them almost 40% of the world population, India's population at the same time is estimated to be just below 100 million.

It isn't petroleum exactly. During the 19th century the scientific minds of Europe were well aware that crop yields were not consistent enough on a macroeconomic scale. They knew that the population growth of the European continent (just the European continent) would run out of resources to feed its population within a century or so. In addition to this it was of course not viable to simply import all of their needs from elsewhere in the world.

They surmised that they would need a way to synthetically produce nitrate fertilizers in a limitless quantities to meet this need. This was a major problem because nitrate fertilizers in nature were limited and had already been exhausted. Bird poop from seabirds was a strong source. Entire islands of it were mined in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Whelp, by the end of the 19th century German science figured it out. They developed the Haber-Bosch process to pull nitrates out of the nitrogen rich atmosphere directly. Thereby unlocking the tech tree to produce infinite amounts of fertilizers and dramatically improve crop yields across the country and later the world. Every nation adopted this and uses this to this day.

There's a cool book about the development called the Alchemy of Air. Do recommend.
