Whoever wrote this article should be shot. Would it kill them to show a graph or insert a table of some sorts?

Indian incompetence knows no bounds
Because if you look at any charts you'll see it's a nothingburger and only clickbaity articles by ChatGPT call it as such. 2% is not a crash, not even a correction. Where's the -40% in a week?

And would you believe this is one of the better ones, too? I swear, it seems like all the articles talking about this are doing it in the most confusing, nonsensical ways possible.

Thank God I'm not the only one. I am pretty far out of the econ/finance industry, but I was reading/rereading this article and I was like "This doesn't make any sense... these are a hefty, but largely inconsequential drops. Why aren't they using visualizations to help communicate why this is significant"

A 20% reduction in a 6 month period is pretty substantial, but it seems like a minor correction after a major bull run. This isn't like a UK situation where there was a market crash after a long period of stagnation. Nor is it a China situation where any "corrections" spell disaster for the economy/society as a whole.

It isn't even a sharp drop. A 20% drop in 30-days is considerably worse than the same contraction over multiple quarters. The only thing that is notable about this news is that anyone outside of the Indian finance sector cares at all.

Speaking of which, did you know that prospective citizens are given the answer key for the civics test and even then, only have to get 6/10 questions correct?

If you're old, you don't even have to study half the answer key:

The questions are ridiculously easy. Some examples:

The fact that Vivek thinks that this is an achievement says more about him than it does about Americans.
India has a stock market?

It's cute when they try to act like people.

Why is he barefoot? Seriously why? What is the logic her? How do you get to a point that's an appropriate thing to do?

The jeet yearns for the freedom of wearing 2mm thick sandals at all times, unrestrained by the microcosm of Western decor the dress shoe imposes. No amount of Americanization or fancy suits or Febreze can scratch the layer of metaphorical and literal shit off the Indian.

Is he doing the interview from his living room? It's understandable to not wear shoes inside the house, but would it have killed the jeet to wear some socks at least? Nobody wants to see your hairy toes

Cross-post from the US Politics thread.

Very rude jeet reporter talks over the president to ask some inane question.
Trump then had to translate it for Zelensky who couldn't understand it.

Has anyone noticed how much pro-Russia the second Trump term has become?

Could it be the Indian influence possibly? Russia and India are very close Allies and this harkens back to the Soviet days. JD Vance (married to a Poopess) sabotaged all negotiation attempts between Trump and Zelensky. Maybe I’m :optimistic: but it’s too coincidental that the rise of the Hindus (and the decline of Jews) coincides with the decline of an anti-Russian foreign policy in general.

Analysts have already said Trumps admin is attempting to reverse the trend of Russia-China-Iran forming an economic bloc. Due to US/Israeli/Ukraine aggression. It's about dismantling BRICS and trying to draw Russia economically away from China.. Divide and conquer. Pretend to be buddies then stab them in the back.
