I've rarely seen an Indian this light skinned, although it's possible. The common denominator in both these photos is the untrimmed fingernails, he might not be Indian but he is definitely trying to get worms

Off-topic but the book did not say this lol
The book blamed excessive sexual promiscuity (the main focus), not equality between the sexes, and the author even advocated for equal rights but with restrictions for sex outside marriage.

Some Kashmiris do look that white, but they claim Iranian descent. Your mileage may vary on that claim.

It certainly isn't white regardless. However to add to your point. I know from first hand experience that there are certain ethnic groups from India, like the Parsi for example, who vehemently claim they are white and deny having anything to do with being Indian, while usually looking exactly like a slightly paler jeet. You will absolutely never get them to admit to not being white, literally impossible. They also usually like to make fun of jeets despite essentially looking exactly like one. However they do have normal hygiene standards and lack the common behavioral patterns of the jeet, thus you can't really call them one, at least not in good faith.

These are just Iranian refugees who fled the Islamic conquest of Persia. They are Zoroastrians.

They just look Indians because Iranians in general look like lighter skinned Indians. The really white Iranians are usually Azeris or some other minority group.

From personal experience Iranians look like northern Mexicans more than they look like Indians, but that’s just anecdotal.

Hm those are some weird ass nails, often seen on middle aged Pajeets.

Could be some form of mystery meat a-la Mehico. Could be those fabled 10% Bavarian, Polish, Italian, Mexican, Filippino, Indian, Pakistani, Bantu, Jewish and of course Antarctican hetitage ones.

Tanning due to outdoors labour could make a half-spic brown.
