Indians, Mainland Chinese, and Africans (some, mostly the Pan-African types) have this wilfully ignorant self-pride and total lack of humility that completely blinds them to all the serious flaws and endemic issues that plague their societies. They always talk of their own nations as the land of milk and honey but seem oblivious to why so many of their fellow citizens come to the West in search of a better life. Instead of feeling proud of the achievements of their countries and their contributions to the world, it's wallowing in pride for just literally existing rather than actually making strides as nations. I've read comments on Youtube from Hindu nationalists, wumaos, and Pan-Africanists that disregard criticism as "western nonsense" and claim that "Africa/India/China doesn't need to change for pathetic western standards" on videos about problems in Africa, China, and India like corruption, poor human rights, and pollution. I'm not sure that cultures where women are gangraped by multiple men even when they're deceased or dowsed in kerosene in front of their husbands for alleged witchcraft are considered to be "far superior" than western cultures. It's this sort of arrogant mindset that keeps their own societies from developing and improving the quality of life for its citizens.
