Justice is blind. It doesn’t send any message that will do anything. People are still going to make u-turns because no one makes one thinking they are going to kill anyone.

You aren’t going to pay more attention when doing a u-turn and neither will anyone else.

The sentence is harsh; and the sentence handed out is not in-line with other sentences commonly given for similar incidents; I’ve only seen sentences on that scale handed out when drugs or alcohol were involved and even then they seldom get 45 years.

It is a harsh sentence.

These stupid jeets don’t understand that this was done on the interstate where U-turns are illegal besides for emergency vehicles for the exact reason that cars are traveling 70+ mph (usually way faster) and can’t stop in time nor know that someone is even attempting to U-turn especially when you may be expecting that the driver is going to give you the right of way. This isn’t their moped and shit infested roads. Even the FHP will sit there and wait on traffic. This fuck should be punished because no lives would have been lost if he was patient and just went to the next exit.

Are you missing the part where he did a u-turn on a freeway in a fucking 18 wheeler? Dude completely blocked traffic, he's lucky the death toll wasnt higher. And typically, you're not going to instantly stop from 65-70 mph even when you slam the breaks. It's not like they hit a guy backing into a loading dock from a 35 MPH urban multilane. He was an illegal that never should've been there in the first place, lied to get the job, never had the qualifications to operate heavy machinery to begin with, recklessly drove a semi-truck, and got three innocent people gruesomely killed.
