It is true that St. Thomas went to India, and there is a small Orthodox community there but that's about it

I know this isn't the gypsy thread so sorry for OT but i know for a fact they also incorporate hedgehog meat in their diets. To the point where police had to start patrolling in public parks to stop groups of gypsies "hunting" them at one time here.

They're not wrong, I don't fuck with jeets in my work place. A jeet will only do one thing in your work place: Look for corners to cut. It's rare that they find a good corner to cut, too. It's always something fucking retarded and/or dangerous. They'll completely fucking butcher an entire day of work, get fired and line up another job to do the exact same goddamn thing and it's just a lesson that never gets learned.

I don't need the headache. I hope that you have that kind of control one day and you can very, very carefully and diligently weed em out. I wish I could help you, man. I know what this headache is like and it doesn't do my heart good to see someone else suffer with it.

He is ignorantly conflating Vedism and Brahmanism with Hinduism, which became a fully coherent religious system almost a thousand years after Buddhism was developed. The composition of the Hindu Epics and the Puranas, texts far more vital to Hinduism than what he cites, occurred as means to unite the Brahmins against the rise of other religions such as Buddhism and Jainism. The Vedas and the Upanishads represent a more primal religion than Hinduism. They are certainly a root of Hindu beliefs, but they were diluted by the local folk religious practices of a disunited Brahmin caste.

Edit: thinking a little more about it, the period of ancient India he mentions with the Upanishads was actually the definitive era of Buddhism in the Indian subcontinent, leading into the Mauryan Dynasty. In my personal ranking, I think this would have been one of the best civilizations to have ever lived under, particularly the rule of Ashoka. It was truly a peak of civilization, probably for the precise reason Hinduism did not exist. Well-maintained public works, systems of forest and wildlife refuges, and an effective and peaceful welfare state were all guided by the tenets of Buddha Dharma, not Brahmanism.

There’s absolutely no evidence that Jesus was ever in India. It’s baseless speculation that because he said some mystical stuff, then he must of traveled all the way to the subcontinent.
