Probably a hot take for this thread but I think Indian food is great.

Provided it isn't cooked by Indian people.

Japanese chicken katsu curry is amazing for example.

I also cook my own Indian food which means it has 80% less oil and salt, and a better balance of spices. Vindaloo's, tikka masala's, Biryani, Tandoori and other dishes are great and some of the cooking methods are good to learn. It's also good to learn how to cook with the various spices so you can spice things up in your other dishes. I do the same with other culture's food if it doesn't fit to my taste.

So you're saying if you take 90% of the American FDA backing (or the equivalent in your white country) where the ingredients have to be clean and not have cancer in them, and add 10% of Indian cancer, you can have your cancer and eat it too.

If you just make your own "Indian food" and remove everything about it that's Indian, it's somehow still Indian, but good. But somehow still Indian.

Just take a hamburger and use an electron microscope to add 0.00000001g of tumeric. That means Indian food can be good guys.

Brief PL but a while ago I had an Indian professor for the first time that really pushed me over the edge. I already had my fair share of foreign professor up to this point but nothing prepared me for how much of a trainwreck this class was. No one in class understood what was happening and none of his slides made any sense.

Anyways, recently I got curious if there were horror stories similar to mine and if I could find more examples of "izzat" in action, so I decided to browse Rate My Professor for random Indian names.

Obviously there are going to be bad teachers anywhere regardless of race and normally people are more likely to rant if they have a bad experience or disgruntle feelings, so it's debatable how accurate this is. Not every Indian professor necessarily had a low score (#NotAllIndians), but i did however notice a bit of a pattern that they were most likely to have lower scores on average than others.

Heres just a sample of what I found. I tried to take screenshots that mostly aligned with the behavior of izzat or that I found funny.

To summarize, I noticed a common thread that most of these professors were either rude, unreliable, uncaring, condescending, impossible to understand, prideful, or would belittle their students for not answering/knowing a question.

Could have some potential milk in there if anyone is bored or curious to see how their local university is doing. Probably could get similar results looking at local reviews of businesses on Google as well
