Honestly I think your principles are coming from a good place but you're making the common westerner mistake of not recognizing how theocracies differ from democracies.

Can anyone think of something noteworthy India has accomplished that wasn't the result of Muslim or British rule? For example the Taj Mahal was one of the Mughal's ideas so while it's a point of Indian pride it's really not Indian.

I remember hearing them claim they invented chess, the game chutes and ladders, rocket artillery in a war fought by the kingdom of Mysore against the British during the American Revolution, Buddhism was founded by a northern Indian prince, and that's all I can really think of.

the hindu nationalists I know try to claim protoindoeuropean, atheism, culture etc. because of the vedas, but I'd believe that it was originally created by another people. which other people you claim is dependent upon which alternative nationalism you subscribe to. the door to esoteric hitlerism is also here.

When I was at the billion dollar company and working through a shitty 99%-Indian only recruiter, they made us attend a recruiter-company meeting and had to get both special permission from the parent company to take a day off, plus also pay us all from their own pocket ie since we are not doing work at the parent company we are just in a recruiter-company level meeting.

The room was 99% Indian and literally for 6 straight hours all they did was talk in circles about everyone's H1B like used car salesmen. Any time a legitimate question came up, the answer was, in so many words, "fuck you we can deport you if we want". The leader of that meeting was also Indian, one of the deep brown types. Essentially, collectively all of the Indians in the entire recruiter company weren't doing any work and the parent company was threatening to pull the plug and axe thousands of them at once, so the actual point of the meeting was to beat them back into shape via threatening to end their company sponsorship and ship them back to India because they know how shit it is back there so the threat is real. Remember that they are paying us all for a day off and taking a hit just to be able to make this threat, because they know that curries don't read e-mail or chat because they don't want to be held accountable. This was also the meeting where I witnessed them eating real, non-vegan burgers. Whole thing was like a mad fever dream.
