I return to my theory if there is an upswing in *cough cough* quality in the pages without nudity my guess his mom proofreads them. He posts the questionable ones without her going over it. I dunno seems like his mom has got to be part of the comic process.

Say has he complained about anyones grammer in a while? Just curious.

He's done plenty of complaining lately, but not about grammar as far as I know.

One the video game stuff, I feel being a Dwarf Fortress and Crusader Kings II player means I can't make any argument about personal morals and video games without seeming like a hypocrite, so I'll leave it at that.

On the non video game side though, the fact that he's managed to get fired/quit from his job in such a short time is telling, especially as person experience, albeit retail, has taught me simply being a shitty employee still tends to wind up in being employed for at least half a year before they even start telling you to stop sucking so hard. I assume his reaction with that letter is what caused it to move so quickly.

And the magical ghetto trip is great as well, lots of insight into his thought process, lack of actual skill (this time in operating a motor vehicle) and smug superiority complex. Only read the cliff notes, do we know if he was actually in a really rough part of town, or if he just assumed "lots of black people, must be in the ghetto".

That said, did anyone happen to save an archive of that stream? I appear to have missed the boat with that one.

He probably thinks anyone who isn't him lives in the ghetto.

re: morality in video games.

all you need to know is that in the mission in Fallout 3 where you have to make the kid cry in the VR world... I chose "killing his mother".

I can't remember correctly, but he's said that his theme song is the Skyrim song, right?

So we're talking on steam right now, me and Copper Cunt, and something kind of odd happened. I mentioned he didn't seem to be talking to me lately and I was going to say he could message me anytime he wanted to chat and he actually outright apologized to me. More than once... and asked me to forgive him. It was probably nothing, but at the same time I was a little surprised, because an apology would imply he actually respected me or something. I doubt he was honestly sorry, but who knows?
Spooky amirite.

Edit: He doesn't suspect a thing. He actually thinks what's-her-bucket is totally serious. I know we all predicted it and it's not like I expected better of him, but still... *SIGH*

Goldy will become the next Jace and he wants to work for something called the Geek Squad.

The Golden Knight: You know, never before have I had such a response about me streaming. This will be exciting!
Marine Trained Teen: Yeah
Marine Trained Teen: It will be definitely cool
The Golden Knight: Along with drawing stuff that I said - what?
Marine Trained Teen: Oh
Marine Trained Teen: I mean along with the drawing stuff that you will do
Marine Trained Teen: Do you think about making livestreams playing games as well?
The Golden Knight: Yes, especially when I get my new computer. That will be the first thing I do; to celebrate the achievement.
The Golden Knight: It'll be a marathon stream of games old and new!
Marine Trained Teen: Wow
The Golden Knight: From Star Citizen to virtualized Windows 95!
Marine Trained Teen: Now THAT I will definitely watch
The Golden Knight: Basically, the experience should be as if you were hanging out with me in-person, except over the Internet.
Marine Trained Teen: Yeah
The Golden Knight: I still need another grand or 2 to make it happen, though.
Marine Trained Teen: I see
The Golden Knight: I'll work at it! ;)
Marine Trained Teen: Cant wait for that
The Golden Knight: It's just going to take some time.
The Golden Knight: I seriously *need* a beefy semi-supercomputer if I want to even consider streaming games.
Marine Trained Teen: Probably
Marine Trained Teen: When do you think you might get the money necessary to get a new PC?
The Golden Knight: It depends on how soon I get a job and how much it pays. I'm assuming the whole process (processing and all, even assuming I pass interviews) would be a couple weeks, and I imagine a wage about 10 dollars an hour...
The Golden Knight: I have a ways to go; ideally a month or 2?
Marine Trained Teen: Huh
Marine Trained Teen: Didnt you have a job before?
The Golden Knight: I did, but the expectations were unrealistic.
The Golden Knight: As a field technician, I was expected to run all around downtown DC, fixing 6-8 computers per day.
The Golden Knight: The key words that forced me away are "per day."
The Golden Knight: I kept detailed documents logging all the time I needed to do my job efficiently, and at my pace, I was doing 2 or 3. My manager found this unacceptable.
The Golden Knight: So, I knew this pace was not going to change anytime soon, and since no compromise was apparent, I felt compelled to leave. It made me sad, but also relieved me.
Marine Trained Teen: I see
Marine Trained Teen: Sorry to hear about that
The Golden Knight: In short, I felt I was expected to do something unrealistic. It's OK, and thanks for caring. ^^
Marine Trained Teen: No prob
Marine Trained Teen: I suppose being a field technician is not the best job for you?
The Golden Knight: Well, I really enjoyed the experiences I gained, and I do honestly want to be a technician. But work in the field - any job - is quite hard. It does not help when the schedule assumes DC has no traffic or red lights at all.
Marine Trained Teen: Yeah
The Golden Knight: I could've put up with it, if I weren't expected to do triple the amount of calls a day.
The Golden Knight: Anyway, enough about that, I hope.
Marine Trained Teen: Yeah
Marine Trained Teen: What kind of job are you going to seek for now?
The Golden Knight: Geek Squad. With my comic selling for almost a year, I think that should give me the experiences to finally qualify me, since they're hard with that "3 months selling experience."
The Golden Knight: I mean, think about it: no parking garages or parking tickets, no hassles outside regular commute, and all day I'm pretty much at a desk. The pay will be lighter than 14 an hour, but it'll be worth it if the job is "easier" like I imagine it will be.
The Golden Knight: That's why I factored in about 10 an hour.
Marine Trained Teen: Yeah, sounds like it will more tailored to your own pace and so
The Golden Knight: Naturally. I don't think Geek Squad will expect me to defy the laws of physics just to meet some kind of quota.
The Golden Knight: Oh yeah, and I remember explaining when I hung out in G-Mod; my field job had my car turn into a small FedEx depot!
The Golden Knight: It sounds funny, but that's because the situation is something that sounds like it came off a sketch from SNL. I had 9 boxes, and half of them were quite big boxes.
The Golden Knight: Those altogether made for quite some dimensions within my Camaro.
The Golden Knight: I remember the last day, where I was picking up my load, and the boxes just kept getting bigger and bigger...
Marine Trained Teen: Sounds like it was an adventure dealing with those boxes
The Golden Knight: Yeah, it was really something...
The Golden Knight: Like I said, it wouldn't have been so bad if the pacing did not feel out of hand.
Marine Trained Teen: Yeah
