Looks like Walter Peck is back in the next movie.

They might as well go this route if they're gonna continue making these. Seeing all these characters again is all anybody really wants to see from a new Ghostbusters movie, even if it's too late, and they're all too old, and one of them is dead. Nobody gives a shit about any new Ghostbusters characters.

Trailer for the new one is out.

Already looks like more effort went into it than expected. I thought they'd just bring back Vigo and the mood slime and call it a day.

ngl love the aesthetic here, as a rare person who sorta vibed with afterlife (cgi harold ramis not withstanding) I really have hope for this one to try to be it's own thing

I really didn't like Afterlife (even if it had some cool elements here or there), but I will say that I really love how this film looks so far
 
Wow…. I really liked that trailer so I hope it doesn’t suck lol, though I enjoyed Afterlife so im hopeful! Though not excited to see Patton Oswalt in it, but maybe he will have a nice gruesome death in it.

Throw out the rainbows, but from the trailers it actually does look pretty good, and pretty much what I wanted Afterlife to be (a new story/villain for the new Ghostbusters to tackle, a respectful passing-of-the-torch from the old guard to the new). The "tall, dark, and horny at 12:00" joke legit felt like it could've been from the original. I actually have tickets to see it opening night (a rarity for me), so we'll see.
