I've been watching the Ghostbusters review on SFDebris, and one of the things that made the original good was that it was a labor of love between a few guys who were friends and worked together. I don't think the actresses in Ghostbusters 16 have anywhere close to that relationship.

I saw the girl on the right's purple hair and I was afraid this would be a screed about institutionalised misogyny, but it was actually a very reasonable analysis of the reaction to the trailer.

Paul Feig chimping out at his audience before the film's release definitely won't do him or it any favours. I'm just interested to see how much more he will chimp out. If the film tanks on release and the critics reject it I reckon he's going to end up blaming everyone else for "not getting it" rather than himself. After all, no great genius was recognised in their time.
 
I'm impressed people are still paying attention to Devin "GamerGate is worse than ISIS" Faraci.
