I was studying today, and in the other room I could here my cousin (aspergers possible autism) cursing out the Xbox, doing almost a whole AVGN routine.
I have a feeling he's not the autistic one here...

I just remembered I need to play Yakuza 4 more often. And the game's theme is pretty awesome.

I fucking love the DMC5 Dante model.

My grandparents came over today. Now we're going to get food because my father didn't know the recipe he chose took over a day.

I had no idea penis cake was a thing.

I'll add you. :D

Later tho, I don't feel like starting Skype right now.

So...I just got back from the grocery store. While I was there, I had to check out at one of the u-scan things, since all the other lanes were too backed up. All the u-scans were taken too, but there wasn't a line, I was pretty much the only one waiting for one of them to open. There's this woman at one of them who's gotten all of her shit checked out and the u-scan is totally ready to go, but she's still standing in front of it because she can't figure out where the receipts print out. There's the screen of the u-scan, then off to the right of that is the little bagging turn-table thing, and just above that, at fucking eye-level, is the print-off for the receipt, dangling out and flapping around in the AC. This lady literally just had to turn her head slightly to the right and she would've seen it.

Now if this were anything less obvious, I would've helped, but I just hung back and watched because I was genuinely curious to see how long it'd take her to figure it out. She never did. She wound up walking off towards the u-scan station where a checker was to ask if the receipts printed out there and he had to point it out to her. This woman (presumably) loaded her shit up into a car and drove it home and quite frankly, that thought kinda scares me.

Truth be told, I feel pretty neutral about it. Well, now that I've passed another dark chapter, that is. I mean, obviously, there are days when I feel like I should put in for a transfer, but on some days, it isn't too bad. I've adopted the attitude of everyone else there: it's a paycheck, but some of the people here are cool.

I was pretty cranky that particular day... and running freight, which I don't enjoy (especially if most or all of the merchandise turns out to be overstock). I personally like it when they call off inventory so we can work on the palettes in the back room. All those years of playing with Legos and Tetris have paid off.
I happened to find this and this. Ouch.

I really need to bring back my retail horror thread.
