Also, I think I've trimmed some fat off. I'm starting to look pretty good shirtless. Weird considering I've been eating more...

This heat has been making me really sick, if I guzzle down any more water I'm gonna vomit...

I know how that feels. I had trouble with the heat around here since I was a kid, always vomiting and passing out because of it. Keep a bottle on hand. When you're out, go to water fountains and refill it there. It's not to wise to just chug all your water at home. You need constant hydration when you're out for an extended period of time.

Anyways, I got a friend coming over in a bit. Here's to hoping I can get to bed early for the D&D game tomorrow.

Why the Hell am I gaining weight?

The joke of the universe: I eat a shit ton of food and gain maybe 5 pounds. I eat less than half that and I gain like 14 pounds in less than a month. ;u;

I know that feel. (:_(

O hey, I'm back! I had a pretty awesome vacation. How's everyone doing? did I miss anything big?

I checked the forums on my cellphone a few times whenever I had nothing to do and happened to have access to wifi, but that mostly consisted of just scrolling through General for a few minutes.

Rika seems to have gone away, so there is that.

I don't think I'll miss him. He got pretty annoying pretty fast.

Welcome back! :heart-full:

Welcome back, Rio!

I feel great. Sunlight, six hours of outside work and holistic food will do that. I hope I can keep this up for the four day canoe journey coming up.

On a serious note I really wish the Chandlers had a food bank nearby like they have on Whidbey Island. I wish we had a food bank like this on the mainland. It runs on a point system where the healthy food costs less and the processed food they get in donations is way more. They get food grown locally and the slightly blemished produce that usually gets thrown out in supermarkets goes super cheap here. They have their own garden out back, too.

I just genuinely didn't know what holistic meant. :P

But they live in a house - they could grow their own vegetables and fruits if they wanted to. I mean, tomato seeds aren't exactly expensive and they even have a greenhouse (filled with records, but still).

Oh, sorry. If Barb was eating holistic food maybe she'd be a little less holey herself. :?

There's a lot of things they could do if the place wasn't so cluttered and they were so unmotivated. Heck, Barb could even donate the greenhouse since they're not using it for anything besides hoard space, but then again...they're using it for hoard space.

I don't know much about plants or growing them, but I'd sure like to learn now. The Whidbey Institute only serves food grown locally and holistically and it is by far the best food I've ever had. I'd happily take a ferry to the island just to eat there.

Tomatoes and herbs and such will grow anywhere, and they ripe pretty quick in the heat too. You can grow strawberries or "wild strawberries" in pots too; you don't even need to have a garden!

Huh...do you grow plants, Christ-ian?

No, but my parents live on the country and they do.
Apples, strawberries, herbs, potatoes, tomatoes... Potatoes and apple trees obviously take a lot of space to grow, but anyone with a window can grow all kinds of things if the temperature's right. You should go for it!

EDIT: I once killed a cactus by pure neglect. ._.

Funny, a classmate of mine was talking about how she killed a cactus even when she was TRYING to care for it properly...
